When we ask an antheist that what makes you different from other people, her/his answer would be : because of my genetic( because they don't believe in soul)

Recently, my sisters cat has been having problems. It can't walk more than three feet before stumbling over, and it claws at the floor and then proceeds to rub it's face on the floor, as well and hit it's head off it, too. My sister said that she had talked to another person and said their cat did the same and that it was an inner-ear infection and that it had to be put to sleep. Does anyone else have any information?

i honestly don't know how this procedure works for short term investments under which the stock is held less than a year. so whats the MOST that you can get taxed despite income or people you're supporting. what's the highest percent that you could get taxed? for example you may have to pay a complete total of 50,60 or 70 percent? maximum?

I have been reading through the answers on the forums, and everytime I click on a question about islaam, all I see is hate. Christians say that they love and God is love, but I don't see love, all I see is hate. I am muslim, and when I see other muslims commenting, I see some patience. Why are the people who are supposed to be so religious so hateful?

I mean, it seems to me that everytime the stock market has a bad month or a couple, the Fed has to jump in with the promise of a rate cut--and everything goes back to the way it was:

Stocks go higher and every trader is happy.

Is this the answer to dealing with an obviously weak economy and a weak dollar--coupled with a housing meltdown and high oil prices?

More rate cuts? We all know what happened when Greenspan kept rates artificially low for several years: A housing bubble that burst.

(And please don't tell me that the economy is "strong". We all know that it isn't. We've been riding a high of credit debt and mass overspending by consumers to keep ends met for years now, along with higher energy prices, stagnant wages, and higher costs in healthcare and living. Those of you who believes otherwise--clearly haven't been keeping up on the latest news.)

A guy is riding the bus when at a stop, the most beautiful woman he has ever seen gets on. The only problem is that she is a nun.

He decides to approach her anyway. "Sister, you are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen and I must have sex with you." he says.

"I'm sorry but I've given my body to God." she replies and then leaves.

Suddenly the bus driver turns around to the guy and says "I know a way you can get her in the sack."

The bus driver tells the guy about how the nun goes to confessional everyday at 3 in the afternoon.

The bus driver tells the guy his plan and the guy leaves happy knowing he's going to get some.

The next day at 3 the guy is in the booth dressed as a priest. When the nun approaches in the darkness he says "Sister, God has told me I must have sex with you."

She replies "Well if God has said it, we must do it. However because of my strong commitment to God I will only take it up the ***."

The guy figures this isn't a problem and proceeds to have the best sex ever.

After it is over he whips off his outfit and says, "Surprise I'm the guy on the bus."

With that the nun turns around and says, "Surprise I'm the bus driver."

I really think they should split up the religions, and not make it religion and spirituality. I ask a question regarding Wiccan, and I'm told I'm going to hell. DUH! I don't beleive in hell, or evil, or satan. I was Christian for 25 years, then decided to switch to Wicca. I don't agree with a lot of the stuff in the Bible, and you are also not going to "save" me on yahoo answers. Leave other religions be, and let them exercise their right to free speach and let them learn their own path without being brainwashed.
The Bible says doing good deeds all the time will not get you into heaven, beleiving in God does though. So why do you feel that since you had some "EMOTIONAL" experience that everyone else is wrong but you? DUH! And bring on the hate responses, you won't hurt my feelings. And please don't pray for me, I manifest my own desires. Have fun begging for yours! Meany's!

Too often "ethics and morality" used almost as synonyms. This ambiguity and can be exploited.

different, but very interdependent. Ethics is like the
relationship of the planets to each other and the sun,
whereas morality is equivalent to each planet revolving on its own axis.

themselves (ethics) vis-a-vis their own rotation
around their own axis (morals) seems appropriate. If
individuals revolve around a moral axis (this is often
called a "moral compass") then their relations among each other will be ethical.

My Microsoft Outlook thesaurus under tools shows “unethical” as a synonym for “amoral” but not for “immoral” However, “immoral” is a synonym for “amoral”! The breaking of the circle in the synonym links indicates that the issue is a bit foggy.
