First, let me say that I am about as close as and ex-mother and law and ex-wife can be.I have lived with her both with my ex-husband and without. Also, my ex-husband is a drug addict and a looser.I say this with no malice, its just the truth. Here is the issue:my ex was working and paying child support for the first time ever (our son is 12).About a week ago he got black out drunk and broke his arm.This makes him unable to work and therefore unable to pay any support. I found out last night that she went ahead and paid his rent, bought him groceries, etc., since he has no money.What this means to me is that I am the only 1 suffering for his bad decision to get that drunk.He has a place to live and food. Now all he has to do is hang out with his GF, get high, play video games and watch TV. I am now without means to pay my bills. I feel she shouldnt have rewarded him for his bad decision. should I say something, or just leave it be? I am really, really angry about this.

Fundie Christians: Why is Gluttony Excused?

I've noticed that even though BAs and fundies are very quick to speak out about sinful things like committed relationships between adults and protecting the environment, they have little to say about gluttony. I find it odd, because they so often back up their "Jesus is against gays" arguments with statistics about how unhealthy gay sex is for society. But not even the most lurid fundie imagination could dream to suggest that gay sex is causing worse health problems for society than obesity.

So how about it? Why is gluttony given a free pass? I know most of you BAs and fundies would be upset if you found out your pastor was visiting strip clubs, but I bet you don't mind if he is 150 pounds over weight and is a regular at the McDonald's Drivethru. Why is that? Why are BAs given a free pass to be crisco gobbling porkies? Why not free passes for internet porn or cruising truck stops for bi-curious action instead?

Is it inappropriate to wear a veil for my wedding vow renewal ceremony?

My husband and I are planning on renewing our vows for our 5 year anniversary (April 08').

We were married at the courthouse because my husband was in the military and getting ready to ship out for a year so we had no time to plan a wedding.

We are renewing our vows to reaffirm our love for one another and be able to involve our family and friends.

I want the wedding that I have always dreamed of and I want to wear a simple veil (no blusher). My family says that it is ok because it is my day, but my friend feels that it is inappropriate.

I will also like suggestions on how to involve our 5 children in the ceremony. The boys will be ages 7,4,and 3. The girls will be 5 and 1.

I would also like to know if it will be ok to have attendants or not.

I want to wear a simple wedding gown with a small train.

I really love this name. although that lout micheal carrol (i think thats his name) the brut that won the lottery and does nothing but wreck cars all day is thinking of namin his baby that too. has anyone ever gotten pregnant even though you were using the "coitus interruptis" method?

If you don't know what that means it means he pulls out before ejaculation. We have been using this and no other form of birth control for over a year now, and so far so good. But I read that this is an unreliable method of birth control because it takes an extraordinary amount of self control on the part of the man. My husband doesn't have a problem with the self control, he just thinks about the possibility of having a baby and it scares the bejesus out of him. So anyway, my question is, has anyone gotten pregnant when you do this as birth control? I don't want to have to remember to take a pill every day and I'm not going to make my husband wear a condom. If this has worked for us so far, how come they say it's unreliable?
