I found a bug coccon and I'm tring to figure out if it's a butterfly, and if so, what types it's.

I found it at my grandmother's house in ky.

The coccon is about 2/3's of an inch long. It's really hard ,and is a mixture of bronw black and white, with small white thorn-like protrusionss ont it's back.

Does anyone know where I can find a picture on the internet of something similiar?

We are having a thunderstorm. My yellow lab is terrified she normaly hates them but this one is shaking our house, its pouring rain, and theres lightning. Right now shes under the computer desk by my legs. How can I cheer her up?

I have two black labs and they both are very strong and like to pull me while out for walks. I keep hearing about choke collars but I am unsure of them because they look like they hurt. But I'm also hearing that it doesn't actually hurt them. Is this true? Do they help in leash training? Any other ideas that might help in leash training? Thanks!

Does the United States in 2007 really need to continue spending taxpayer dollars on ICBMs?

Where are the fiscal conservatives argueing that this is useless government spending.

If you say its about being tough on defense, # 1 - didn't the Soviet Union fall in 1991, and # 2 - we have 20,000+ ICBMs. Do we really need a 20,001rst?

I just bought my house in may and now that winter in on its way I'd like to winterize the sunroom. there are 7 screens with the panel size of around 3x5 . I was wondering what you would think the cheapest way of making this rooms winterized? the frame is all alumium and i wasnt too sure if double stick tape and plastic would stay on there. I was thinking about getting customer glass to put in there, but I think that would cost way too much. any ideas would be appriciated :)

Well I certainly can't complain that the description of god as a vile, petty, unjust, vindictive sickening bully is in contradiction to the bible, but honestly would any sane person want to worship something which is ethically, emotionally and intellectually inferior to you in every way?

Any law students out there? I used to work for a fortune 500 company,and after a discussion with the "safety director",at work about the things I found disturbing about the Bush administration,he said that I was a terrorist if I did not go along with everything the president was doing, and that he was going to have me watched. I didn't believe him. He had cameras put in my house (bathroom and all)and a tracker in my car!Several months later I was terminated for making a terrorist statement,I never got to find out what the statement was,or who my accuser was,but I was led off the property by the police.! Just for the record I am a 48 year old white man ,a Democrat,born and raised(work) in Texas, and have not, nor would EVER,do anything the least,terroristic or destructive in any way to my beloved country. It's been a while but it still haunts me. I don't have piece of mind anymore nor do I feel I have privacy at all.I am not crazy.I am just asking for advice,not abuse!

I'm building my first house, so this is new construction. The hangers put up sheetrock inside a stand-up shower that is to be tiled completely (floor, walls, ceiling). Does this have to be removed in order to hang the cement backerboard, or can the backerboard be installed over the sheetrock/drywall?

All I've read about backerboard installation only mentions installation over studs, and never mentions anything about existing sheetrock.

My parents are not able to understand me and give me support at the right place and right time... I just feel very lonely... Hello! I just had an interview on Wednesday at a restaurant. The interview only lasted about 10 minutes and he told me that he wanted to schedule me for a second interview. But when he came back, the schedule was apparently "full" and the GM is out of town. I have sent out my thank you letter. I finally got my letter in the mail stating my acceptance for pregnancy medicaid. I can't wait any longer to see a doctor, but it says my "eligability" doesn't start til the first of November. Does this mean I can't see a dr. til then, or I just won't get my card til then? Will I get reimbursed if I go now?

P.S. - I live in Florida, and I've visited the offices here of DCF in order to try and get this done faster. To my amazement, there are NO employees working for DCF in their offices! Apparently they got rid of individual caseworkers, and the only way you can contact an actual person in by phone... a "customer call center" which leaves you on hold for 45mins + at times. There are no bodies at the office, only phones which direct you to this number and fax machines in order to send them information. It's RIDICULOUS!
