I'm gonna cook for my family. However, there are quite a few problems. I have a grandma who is 75 years old, my Mom is pregnant, I have 2 younger brothers, one is 14 years old, one is 3. I want to cook something delicious and healthy that all the members in my family can eat. What do you reckon???

I would have added a qualifier like ‘most Christians’ or ‘some Christians’ but there wasn’t enough character spaces left. But is it just that a certain amount of time must pass before Christians will accept new knowledge? I mean, I for one see parallels with what Galileo went through and what Darwin went through, but Christians eventually accepted Galileo’s discoveries. Many though, seem adamant about never accepting Darwin’s discovery. Is it because evolution is more of a ‘slap in the face’ for theists than the discovery that the world is in fact spherical?

It is a simple recipe for fried shrimp.
Dip large shrimp in beaten egg and then dip in ground up macadamia nuts. I follwed the directions, gently placing them in 1/4 inch olive oil in a sillet and turning only once.
Almost all the macadamia nut coating fell off! Have you made anything similar and did your coating stay on?

Suppose the following lottery is conducted a large number of times. There are n people (you can assume n is fairly large or you could let it be 100 or 1000 if you like) and each writes a positive integer on a piece of paper. The winner is the one who writes the smallest unique positive integer. For example, if 4 people write a 1 and 2 people write a 2 and only one person writes a 3, ther person who wrote a 3 is the winner.

So my question is, if this game is played a large number of times, which is the average of all the winning numbers.

In case you were curious, I have been prefacing some of my recent math questions with "Math Challenge:" in order to (a) signify that this is not my homework and (b) possibly add a bit of excitement =) However, unlike the previous ones, I have no idea what the answer to this is, or if there even is one, but I would be very interested in people's thoughts.

By the way, I once played this game with about 30 people and the number 2 won!
