The Phillies have had a looong history of choking

and thats exactly what they did in this year's playoffs

They lost the first two games AT home to the tired Rockies and then they lost game 3 tonight at Colorado

So the Phillies Squandered homefield advantage (2 straight losses at home to begin a series against the worn out Rockies)

Phillies choked, Rockies win and move on to the NLCS

When a solid MLB team gets on a roll they are difficult to beat, and right now that is the Rockies. It very likely could be the last game for the Phillies.

It was. The Phils got to the play offs more by the Mets' collapse than their own outstanding play and they were found out in post season.
