from today one may not purchase cigarettes unless one is 18 or over. Surely this should also apply to vegetables, as they are actually KNOWN to contain CARCINOGENS,whereas tobacco smoke has never been shown to contain any known carcinogen?

Well it does relate to my religion because so many times people use science to argue against GOD.

But other than that I asked the exact same question twice---once here in the religion section and once in the biology section. I only got two answers in the biology section and only one of them tried to answer the question. here, i always get lots of answers.

I dreamt of giving birth to a child, but the birth left a tear in my uterus. The docs entered through my abdomen to sew me back up. But everytime I moved, the incision would open up and bleed. I felt the pain. The only reason I did try to move was because someone tried to kidnap my baby. I stopped the kidnapper, and the incision in my abdomen began to bleed through my robe.
So what could this be symbolic of?

My brother & his friends demand I post a question as soon as they think of it. When I tell them I am too busy with work at the moment, they get even madder & tell me that asking the Yahoo questions comes first.

Then to top it all off, they have me re-ask it with revisions to their liking until they get the answers they are seeking!

Hi, my tank is cycling, and is about two weeks in.

I have no fish in it.

I want to add a few mollies in a few days.

I know I can do this, so please don't send me info on cycling - I DON'T NEED IT.

At the moment, the water is slightly yellow. I've done a 30% water change a few days ago and it's improved and continues to improve since then.

I'm going to change the ornaments (decided against them), which will remove some of the decaying food which made it yellow.

Therefore the tank water will be better.

#1 Is it safe to add the fish with the algae or whatever it is (I know it's safe otherwise, just not with the algae)
#2 Is it okay to add a couple of live plants? Should I do this before or after fish?

Please don't answer if you're not gonna answer my question. It's just a waste of your time. I'm fed up with people answering questions that I don't need answering and not answering the ones I need.

do you suffer from low sex drive?
my husband doesnt eem to understand that with a child at home and a house to look after, and with him working afternoon shifts ( he comes home around 1.00am or later,) that im not in the mood. im tired, and the last thing i want to be doing is wke up and find a hard thing (excuse the pun) poking me at 1 or 2 in the morning.
ive told him that on w.ends is fine, but even then im too tired to do anything.
doany other women have this prob?
by the way im only 25, so no, im not going through the change of life. lol

I noticed that you ask a question and people not only don't read it completely, but answer with nonsense. Is it just to get points? And what exactly does having a lot of Yahoo Answers points really get you? Is it about some kind of prestige? If so, what does this prestige get you?

Do this people conduct their real life activities in the same manner? You know, do they do everything half as$ed just to skim by? Or are they motivated by actions that gain them popularity and nothing else? What does this say about the society we live in? Do you thing that Yahoo Answers is a good cross-section of society to predict the behavior of people offline too? Are people really that vain and lazy?

Do you think our society overall is really based on laziness and getting a quick fix? If you are one of those lazy people, why are you afraid to work for anything, don't you want the rewards hard work brings?

Is life turning into another highschool like popularity contest? Why?

My co-worker is trying to hold an "Ugliest Employee" contest.

He insists that he is that loved & charming at the company ... and thinks he'd get a stern talking to..

He's going to do it because he knows he's loved & charming in the workplace & he likes to continuously push the envelope to see how far he can go with these antics at work.

I must admit that he's gotten away with some outrageous things before, but this really might be pushing it.

My boyfrined has a medical worry, its personal but trust me it is a cause for worry, and i dont know how to comfot him about it, he has a doctor appointment tomorrow but i dont want him to keep beating him self up over it, how can i make him feel better but at the same time keep my own fears at bay.
what makes things worse is he works at the cancer center at the hospital, so thats all thats going through his head.
Please help me help my baby!!!! i care so much about him and would die if anything would ever happened to him.
how do i comfort him?
