He has the economy on the right track, brought the terrorist to their knees, the american people are united and we are well respected in the world by more countries than ever.

No. Not only would I not trust anyone, even George Bush, with continuing power, it would set a dangerous precedent for future candidates. You get some real wacko up there running who figures, "Well, we changed the Constitution once, why not repeal the whole limitation on terms?", then continues to run for re-election in the name of keeping the country safe or healthy or some other thing. In the meantime, he's slowly encroaching further and further on our rights, and by the time we notice, it's too late to do anything about it -- he's outlawed elections and made himself perpetual ruler of the country.

America is not united, we are divided in ways I have not seen since Vietnam and even then, the left and right were talking, now all we do is throw insults and hate at each other.

The economy is not on the right track. We are losing jobs overseas, we are not planning for the future, and the real income is going down for most Americans, not up.

We did not bring the terrorists to their knees, we are breeding them because we have given them two huge excuses for them to hate us even more. Even Bush said it is only a matter of time till we're attacked again.

We are not well respected, we are roundly hated.

I need not answer your question about the 3rd term.

Let me guess, you don't get out much, do you? And you get a lot of your information from talk radio, correct?

Peace

Jim

Absolutely. I would love to see term limits removed. If the American public does not want President Bush in office, he will be voted out. By having term limits, it is a restriction on freedoms.

I think all elected officials should be limited to one term. That way they might do their job instead of constantly campaigning and posturing for "brownie points".

Only if all 300 million Americans decide on a collective suicide pact...then sure, he'd be our man!
