I personally think Hamilton is a phony and that his nice guy image is BS. Some of things he has allegedly said about Alonso, the team should be backing him instead of Alonso, calling backmarkers monkeys, getting into a spat with Ron Dennis are downright disrespectful.

I also think the British tabloids are building him up so they can knock him down.

Still, Hamilton seems very marketable. With a world title in the first year and goodness knows how many more to come, will his earning power make him the richest athlete in the world?

I think he will earn more than Beckham this year. Tiger Woods earns $100 million, but can Lewis overtake him? If Lewis moves to a tax haven, he will pay very little, if any, tax.

Could someone please remind me what point Al Qaeda is trying to get across with all its violence aimed at western nations?
Osama bin Laden most recently said, in a video, that targetting the west with terrorism would stop if everyone converted to Islam.
Then what?
Doesn't Al Qaeda kill Moslems, as well as Christians?

Pet overpopulation is a growing problem:
There are 45 cats and dogs for every one person born.
Only one out of 10 dogs born ever find a permanent home.
Only one out of 12 cats born ever find a permanent home.
800 dogs and cats are destroyed each HOUR in the U.S. because there are not enough homes for them!

Please consider these numbers when you.....

consider letting your pet breed.
neglect having your pet spayed or neutered.
consider buying a pet from a breeder or pet store.
condemn different rescue organizations for euthanizing adoptable pet.
consider a pet for your home. Make sure you are willing and able to make a lifetime commitment to that pet!

on land owned by my father now. My mom passed away 2 1/2 years ago. He has said in a answering machine message (all of which I'm keeping to play for the police if it comes to that) that this is his trailer and I'm not taking it anywhere. Whose doublewide is it and what can I do if it's mine to get it moved to another site that I have been told for years is mine for the taking since I have to have it moved threw our driveway that is on his land?????

If you think animals don't have any souls
why do you pray for them?
My crazy religious (Christian) neighbor said
animals don't have souls as soon as she saw my
new Siamese cat she said she would pray for him.
Because he had a sneezing problem with the booger
flying and all. If you believe animals don't have any souls
and they are just shells then why would you pray for one?

I cannot understand the decision in F1...to find that Alonso is partly responcible for playing about with ilegal info...To use it to try and improve his position...this year and the future...to try and blackmail Ron Dennis and cheat......To cost the team their Constructers Championship and £50Million........but...nil penatlty goes to him at all.You and I can see the lowering of moral caused by him and DelaRosa etc...I do not understand why he and Ferarri etc all get away with it while his team and maybe other teams will all pay in lost results?

Typecast

I see you the way you scan the crowd
I watch what bodies your eyes study
I hear who you flirt with
I notice these things
But you don't really notice me
At least not like that
I'm a fixture, part of the scenery
When you're hunting, I'm in the background
I'm never in your crosshairs
That's where you're in the wrong
I know who I am, I know what I am
Most importantly, I know I'm not your type
That's your big mistake
You should change those standards
Give me a chance to prove them wrong
I'm not your type, this is true
But, that's also the point
You haven't exactly gotten far with your type
Otherwise you wouldn't still be on the prowl
Would you
Take another look at me
See what you're missing
Try a little variety, it's worth it
I'm worth it

But Ferdinand Magellan (1480-1521) the Portuguese navigator and explorer, the first European to cross the Pacific Ocean said,

"The church says the earth is flat, but I know that it is round, for I have seen the shadow on the moon, and I have more faith in a shadow than in the church."

I realize that it was the passage of Amendment XIX to the Constitution.

It passed by winning more than two-thirds of the votes in the Senate (all men) and more than half the voters in 36 states voted for it. In many of those states only men had the vot and in those where women already had the vote, it was because previously men had voted for it.

Why did the patriarchy allow this? Why did so many men vote for it?
