i dont know when the last time you can candle an egg before they are hatched this is my first hatching experience

No, candling at 2 weeks is just fine. Congrats on the new babies coming!

because you candled them dont mean you killed them ,
one it might not be ready for them to hatch it could take a little longer , or the eggs were never vaible to start. or some times it happens is a dead chick in the shell its nature. give it some more time also depends when youre hen started sitting tight. that also is a factor

if it was only for a short amount of time then you should be fine.
