If one desires to be in Heaven when they die, are the not dependent on such a thing?
In other words, some people enjoy spending money because the happiness they get from it fulfills them. However, since one needs to continually shop, the happiness is dependent on spending.
As well, those who smoke cigarettes will find happiness with the relief it brings, however, they will need to keep smoking.
If one finds happiness in a motorcycle when riding, are they happy? What of when they are not riding, are they miserable?
If you rely on heaven for happiness and God for happiness, then are you really happy? Without God, without the idea of heaven, are you happy? Don't just say "of course" because I will not believe it. In order for one to truly say "yes" they must not cling to such beliefs, not "long" for such occurences to follow.
In order to be liberated, one must be free from all, including thoughts and ideas.
Are you happy/dependent clinging to heaven/god beliefs?
