I'm particularly interested in what the lifestyle is like for finance professionals.

From what I gather, Switzlerland is quiet, laid back, good money, low tax, clean, efficient trains! Is this an accurate assessment?

What is it like to live in Switzerland?

And specifically for those who work in finance - is it much more laidback than working in say New York or London?

I mean there is no health insurance for a check-up, no 401k, just 16 hours of work to make ends meet. There is an old car with flat tires, a lump somewhere on your body that would cost zillions to check out, so you just work and pretend it's not there. We aren't corporate rich republicans, just regular good people who work 90 hours a week including weekends and just make ends meet. Who do you suggest we turn to when things get even worse? A labor union that died in the 30's...a non-existant husband, a Hillary with a health plan, or juilliani or bush for support? No. You are spoiled and out of touch. God is for the real people.

I am trying to work out how to organise visitors after I give birth. I want to see my mum and my sister and my best friend most of all. but I am pretty sure I am only allowed 2 visitors at a time and my mum will want to come in with her boyfriend (they have been together for like 15 years so he is more like my step dad) and then I know my husbands parent will want to come in and aaaargh it's all just too messy.
So what I am hoping to do, is take my baby out to meet everyone at the same time.
Did you feel up to doing something like this after you gave birth?

When it comes to buying Insurance for that very expensive Car or House they go for the cheapest.Beleiving that in the event of a claim they will be paid out.But the same people go into a Supermarket and buy a tin of a regular brand beans for 35p,but ignore the stores own brand (most likely supplied by a multiple) at 16p.
