Yes it is possible to have your period after conception. I had one for the first 4 months of my pregnancy with my son. Take a pregnancy test and if it comes back negative you could always go to the doctor if you still think you are pregnant. I never could get an at home pregnancy test to come back positive but I knew I was pregnant from the morning sickness. The doctor just confirmed it.

Many women bleed in early pregnancy for one reason or another but it is not a period.

The uterus gets totally focused on protecting and nourishing the growing fetus. This means it can't receive eggs as usual. So, figuratively speaking, it sends out a busy signal. During pregnancy, your body temporarily halts ovulation and stops shedding the lining of the uterus. As a result, you will not have menstruation during pregnancy. After your baby is born, your body's natural cycle of ovulation returns, and your period returns as well.

It is a slim possibility, but not unheard of.

If you think you are pregnant and have gotten a period, have your doctor do a blood test. A home pregnancy test will not be accurate enough.
