Ithink indian cricket has entered into the next generation.,Dhoni is glorious player but as every indian captain said I WAS GOOD CRICKETER BUT CAPTAINCY RUINED ME.
let see what happen with dhoni.i think he will soon have hair cut

Let's face it Indian cricket is in such a bad state that we have no other option but to accept Dhoni as our captain.....I mean who else have we got???Sachin has already said that the shorter version of the game is taking its toll on him,Sourav has fallen out of favor with the selectors.....so this is the only option left......yes I do admit that the series against Australia will be a very tough one...and I think as a nation,as followers we should not be expecting too much from the team....if we are able to do that we will be fine......give Dhoni time and don't start expecting too many things from him immediately.....he is one for the future.....give him time and I think he willl be fine....

It is not the question of expecting too much from him. Indian team want a young captain to take the team ahead in future and among the present lot of young cricketers, Dhoni is ideally suited for the post as he has got great talent, good temperament and attitude.

Under current situation..when senior players r growing old...I dnt c ne other alternative except Dhoni..
There r other good players too...but nobody is capable to handle captaincy..I blive Board has taken a very correct decision...
So far his image is concerned..it doesnt depends upon mere captain...whole team is responsible for it..n I hope this will only encourage young players to play better...

Well that's the captain's job. Former captains Sourav Ganguly & Rahul Dravid along with master-blaster S Tendulkar will give him some advice how to get along with captaincy along with some tips from coach/manager or other members.
It happens with every captain in every country
