Before you and the fiance split up over this, you both need a lot more info. Chlamydia is the most common STD out there, because it is a silent infection for most people. In other words, it doesn't cause symptoms in many women, and almost no men- until it is detected, usually in the woman, during a routine pap smear and exam. If either of you have had other partners at any point in the past, either one of you could have brought it to the relationship unknowingly. It doesn't prove that either one of you has "cheated" on the other. You can't tell how long you have had it, only that now the two of you have been exposed and need to be treated. He could have caught it years ago, as could you. This is not a finger pointing thing, and doesn't have to be used as a weapon for either of you. It's just an infection, and it can and needs to be treated. As far as the trust issues in your relationship, those you need to deal with separately.

No not really, other than being born!

Listen, Chlamydia is known as the silent disease!

You can get it with vaginal, oral, or anal sex. That's about it.

HOWEVER, almost all men have NO SIGNS at all, and 1/2 of women do not. If you are not asymptomatic it usually shows up in 1 to 3 weeks.

You could have given it to him and he needs to be on medication and he could have given it to you. He could have had it for years and never known it as he has no symptoms, so don't go the cheating route as that is not normally the issue in this std and they should have told you that!!

Just make sure you are both on meds! Thats all you need to worry about right now,

My previous room mate shriveled this (by way of nefarious acts) and had sat down along with his Dr. His Dr. stated that it replaced into weird and wonderful, as my room mate is gay, and his specific form of Chlamydia is in lots of situations cultivated by way of an odd pH stability in a woman's vagina. i'm specific this replaced into no longer each thing of the communique, yet in addition some thing nicely worth finding into. i might say seek for advice out of your physician and do slightly analyze on the Chlamydia you shriveled and how it is unfold. additionally, ask to work out his workplace work on the attempt effects, and study them to your own.

Did you have sex with anyone else before your finance? You could have gotten it from them or he could have gotten it before you. Its something that can hide itself and you can go a long time without knowing it. He could be telling the truth.

Chlamydia can be transmitted during vaginal, anal, or oral sex. Chlamydia can also be passed from an infected mother to her baby during vaginal childbirth.
