does anyone else think the birth control where you only get 4 periods a year scary. im seeing a doc soon to get on birth control--i just dont know about this kind. its like not normal. could there be negative effects with this birth control. wont you mess your body up by not having your period once a month like your supposed to...

We wish to manage the upkeep of our freehold property by ourselves. The building is in need of some urgent external structural repairs. We have received the quotes and now need to raise the funds. My 1998 Maxima is very well maintained at 125,000 miles, I would trade that and add $2500 to get in return a 1999 Pathfinder with only 75,000. Both cars have been in our family since the beginning so I know they have been taken good care of. Im just not sure if I want to pull the trigger and make the deal. Thanks for your help.

If there is a god or goddess out there, surely such an entity wouldn't hold a grudge against some one simply for not believing in them. Especially with so many choices out there.

Why would a divine power be so petty. Belief in and of itself doesn't provide any benefit in this life, so why should it matter in the next?

I'm more than happy to take my chances that all gods and goddesses are fake. But if that isn't the case, I'm hoping that the gods or whatnot won't hold it against me that I didn't believe. He/she/they certainly didn't provide any proof.

What's wrong with a little healthy skepticism?

We recently moved and just got our internet hooked up today. We have 3 computers in the house. One up stairs, one in the family room downstairs and one in a bedroom downstairs on the other side of the house.

The one upstairs has the actual connection. We're using a wireless router for the other 2.

The one upstairs works great! The other 2 ... not so good. The one in the family room works, but it's slow. The one in the bedroom works sometimes, loses it's connection, freezes up and it's extremely slow.

Is this normal when using a wireless router? Could it be the brand (NetGear)? Is it the cable company (Knology)?

Any help would be appreciated.
