Say you were African-American (sorry if this offends you in any way) and I referred to you as "black"....would you mind it or would you be offended by it? Because I would feel guilty calling someone that. I just want to make things clear

I think that if somebody was offended by such a comment, then they are likely just offended in general. I'm white, your black, she's green....Who cares? We all have red blood and melatonin, regardless of the outer color.

Personally I would not get offended if you called me black or african american. Those 2 seem to be the most politically correct.

Not all African-Americans resemble blacks and not all blacks are from Africa. What happened to the Africa north of the Sahara? What happened to the people of Jamaica and Guam? Surely, if a person takes offense to the word "black" then a word less offensive to them could easily be used in the future.

I don't mean to sound rude, but its little stuff like this that is still supporting racist thoughts. "black" is a word that describes a color, nobody should be offended by it. I would not be offended if somebody called me "white".

I dont' know how to call "Black" coloured people, so I just call them Black. Much easier.
