So far the limit seems to be about 120, but the number who even reach 100 are rare. As mentioned, the average life span is 73/80 for men/women here in the states. As you've survived childhood, you're expected life span could be a tad higher (but not much as infant mortality is low here). As has been said, genetics is a factor. How old your folks and grandparents lived can be a good indicator. Not smoking and staying reasonably fit are good ways to reach your maximum lifespan. Also, it's important to maintain healthy relationships with friends and family. Studies have shown these contribute to health and in the recovery from illness. Just as importantly, they make the time we have here on earth worth living. :)

The average Life span of a Male in America now is 73 years & the Female is 80 years.* A lot of it is hereditary or good genes.* The most important thing is to live life each & everyday as if it was your last day to live.*

Well this is anothe far fetched question with eons of answers.. I thinki though for us to answer correctly and purely professinal.. I think you will have to get a little more specific... i.e. How long ca you live if you are in the woods cutting wood and you cut your leg off with a power saw and you are 20 miles from town and the only transportation you have is a mule.... Now thats a question.. Grant M in Pennsylvania

You can live for as long as you aren't dead.

Depends, really. Your WILL to live is important, as well as how much work you're putting in to currently living, as well as how long you desire to live.

Fate/destiny also plays a big role.

And hereditary, in the case of people whose families have a long-running case of "X"

So, it depends.
