t was my normal morning routine, minus the cup of coffee. Just a few nights before I'd made my unbelievably good Irish potato and cheese soup: corned beef and cabbage stock seasoned with green onion and flat-leaf parsley, Yukon gold potatoes, and then grated extra sharp Vermont cheddar to melt and sweet Dublin-style cheddar sliced into little cubes so you have these great little chunks of cheddar floating in the corned beef and cabbage cheese broth. It makes for a really great soup; unfortunately, all that cheese can overpower the laxative effect of the cabbage and bind you up a bit.
Sitting on the throne the morning after soup-o-rama, I was straining to make the brown biscuits; but they were stuck in my colon like a recalcitrant turtlehead, so I just performed a cursory wipe and jumped into the shower.

Partway through the shower I felt a great buildup of pressure and let rip with a real barn-burner. The stench of the cabbage-cheese fart, combined with the steam from the hot water, was unbearable. I finished soaping up, rinsed down, and jumped out of the shower.

To my chagrin, I then noticed something terrible. There on the shower floor sat something that looked like a deer turd. Actually, though, it was a Hieronymous turd: an obviously tightly-compacted little bugger that must have shot out when I birthed that shower-evacuating nose-hair-curler.

My first thought was, "Damn, glad I caught that before anyone else came in here." I grabbed a wad of toilet paper, grabbed the thing up, and tossed it in the terlet. The turd was so compacted that it didn't even leave a smear. Quick spray with some 409 that was under the sink, a little more toilet paper, and I was out of there.

Unfortunately, the rest of the morning didn't offer much relief. Come lunchtime I decided to flush myself out with several cups of coffee... but that's a story for another day.

Why when you ask a question on Y/A do you get a majority of people trying to get you to do what they think is right or to go along their way of thinking? For eg I asked a simple question the other night I asked how do you set a mouse trap easy enough question you'd think except i got told please no dont use one of the more humane ones etc, etc that doesn't actually answer the question now does it? lol But why do people feel the need to push their beliefs etc on someone??

Is it really true that you're supposed to stop bottlefeeding at 6 months and ue a cup instead?
I breastfeed my baby but I give him formula at the evening feed, so at 6months I will have to feed him in a cup?
I don't understand the reason for doing this, b/f babies are allowed the comfort of a breast for 2 years+, but bottlefed babies must have their comforting bottle taken at 6months? Why?

Still cleaning out mom's house. I found a fur coat way back in the downstairs closet. It's short, black, sleek and very soft fur. It's an older style coat, maybe from the 1940's or 50's. I'm no expert on furs. Any ideas how I can find out?

...based on your experience. Personally, I am not racist, but I have come across a few too many black females with a chip on their shoulder, leading them to:
1. not treat everyone equally--be biased
2. have preformed/preconceived notions about members of other races
3. talk too fast, but never precisely
4. use too much psycholgical crap and mind games.

Do I hit a sensitive spot on some people? Well, that's just my experience. Anyone else feel this way? Like I said, I have black female friends, and they are NOT this way. They help and support me as I support and help them.

I'm in my third year of college and ever since I started my freshman year it seems as though I haven't wanted to be here. I never like going to class, I hate doing assignments. But it's not like I did bad all my life, in high school I was an excellent student. My mom thinks i'm home sick, which isn't true because I absolutely hate the town i'm from and never want to go back. Anyway, i'm starting to think college isn't for me. I really want to travel and pursue a photography career, but I don't want to go to college. Is there any advice to a 20 year old college student who wants to drop out? and is there any other way that I can pursue photography without going to school?

some 'misandrists' and radical fringe members that the entire movement is suddenly worthless or 'hypocritical'? From our friendly neighborhood 'non-' and anti-feminists:

Q: Isn't labeling anti-feminists part of the patriarchy a stereotype?

A: … Feminism is an honorable movement, and deserves much credit for the lives that women are free to live today. But as with everything else, it is generally not the movement itself that becomes corrupt or misguided, it is its 'followers' - the feminists. (And, of course, I am generalizing here...as I do not believe that ALL feminists are corrupt or misguided...but plenty are!)

I am, therefore, anti-feminist for the most part, not anti-feminism. …

Do anti-feminists actually think that the fact that a few of the movement’s 'followers' become 'corrupt or misguided' is somehow reason to discredit the movement itself? Apparently there are not plenty of radical crazies in the world religions.

Delaying my period with BC pills?

I posted earlier about wishing to delay my period a few days and got several good answers including a couple about using BC pills to delay my period. To continue my question... my BC pill dispenser is divided into four parts.

The white pills have 0.180 mg norgestimate and 0.025mg ethinyl estradiol.
Light blue pills have 0.215mg norgestimate with 0.025mg ethinyl estradiol.
Dark blue pills have 0.250mg norgestimate with 0.025mg ethinyl estradiol.
And of course the green sugar placebo pills.

Im confused about the effects of the norgestimate (progesterone) and why the amount in the pills varies. Could someone help me out with that?

Which pill is best for countering the onset of my period? Which should I take when my current pack runs out? Do i just start from the beginning of the new pack? Or will the higher dosage pills of norgestimate work better?

BTW I appreciate peoples concern that I might "screwing" up my body, but I can handle it this once.

Thanks to secular media and governmental insitutions, not many people are aware of the final (and possibly the greatest) contribution to the world by the man who appeared to have a special connection to divine wisdom and revelation. Interestingly, Albert Einstein remarked that "God does not play dice" (probably a cryptic 20th century reminder of Newton's prophecy).

I believe the word "end" in Newton's prophecy doesn't mean a literal end of the world, but rather the end of the world as we know it. The end of any illusions we may have about the world, who we are, why we are here and who brought us here. Don't you find it remarkable that this fits in with the current intuition of our times (that we are in the last days)?

Some people may object by saying that the Bible said "no man knows the day or hour". But the Bible also says that man can tell the season. Apparently, Newton has told the world. But, for some reason, the world is either ignorant or not listening.
