this girl i know is in the 7th grade, shes 12, and about 5ft, and shes 75 pounds, is she anorexic?

I have friends who eat like pigs and they are the same weight as that, or less. She's only anorexic if she doesn't eat, and works out like crazy. But like, if she isn't hungry for like 1 day, it doesn't really mean anything.

Being very thin doesn't automatically mean that someone is anorexic. My wife is very thin and tiny, but she eats more than I do.
Now, if your friend recently lost A LOT of weight, is looking pale and ashen-faced, refuses to eat (or makes excuses to not eat), constantly comments on how "fat" she is or how she needs to lose weight -- maybe then, she has a problem.
It is good of you to be concerned about her. Just get more informed before you start thinking the worst.

Not necessarily.That's about what I weighed in 7Th grade.Unless,you have seen her throwing up or have other symptoms of anorexia,she is just fine!Some people are skinny,and can eat like a pig!!At least she is not obese...as this is very prevalent in young people these days,as is anorexia,but without proof I would not worry about her.

I'm 13, 5 4'' and weigh 97. She probably is or she just has fast matabolism like me.

She may be, or it could be that she went through a growth spurt and her weight hasn't caught up to her height. Ask a teacher to keep an eye on her.

Your weight has nothing to do with anorexia, anorexia is a disorder that causes people to think they are too fat no matter what so they starve themselves.

does she eat at lunch? does she excersize a lot? you know, she could be naturally skinny.
