I currently have a Visa credit card but the bank which deals with my credit card sent me two offers. I am qualified to upgrade my card to either Mastercard or American Express. Which one should I chose? Should I upgrade at all?

I was 8 years old when 9/11 happened, and even though it didn't effect my family, I had a terrible time accepting it. I'm 14 now, and I'm still traumatized by it. I'm not sure what to do about it, but is it normal to be scarred for life about something like this?

Far too many "Christians" joyfully inform people outside their particular brand of dogma that they are going to hell. Odd that these same people cannot tell which members of their own families will or will not go to heaven. Why so judgemental? Why so hypocritical about it? Perhaps some of the good folks from the Christian community can teach these hypocrites the error of their ways, though I doubt they'd listen. I feel for the faithful members of the religious community who have to be associated with these self-righteous bigots. If a hell really existed, it would end up full to the brim with these people. Your opinions?

How did you feel when you got a ticket?

I make cute purses and bags. It's a fun hobby of mine, and I would really like to sell them. I've done 2 craft shows, and they have been good experiences, but not very profitable.

My bags are getting nicer and nicer with each one I make--I keep learning new little tricks. Oh, and I make up my own designs--no patterns here.

I have a neat old dress dummy, a pretty little t-stand, and a post (a 4 x 4 painted, dressed up) to display my bags. I also have a "bargain basket."

My plan is to keep hitting craft shows, but so far the ones I've done have not been very good. (Nobody's really moving a ton of stuff; not a huge number of exceptional items.)

I'd really like to do some bag parties where people can "design" a bag that I'd make for them.

I'd appreciate any constructive feedback and advice on being successful at selling bags, interesting displays, where to find really inexpensive yet hip and cool fabrics and other bag supplies, etc.

Thanks so much!!
I also posted this in "crafts."

I started cutting when i was 13 now im almost 15. At first noone noticed, then i got caught. i had to see all these doctors and therapists and do all that b.s when i know a lot of other teens do it and get away with it. I was even insulted by the director of my school district because he said he had never seen "arms as mutilated as mine in his entire 30 years working with kids". So my mom was ordered to take away all the sharp things in the house and i gave my stash to her but i used my braces to cut instead. Then a few weeks ago i cut and i got caught by my mom but i lied and said it was just a scab. i REALLY need to cut! therapy, medicine, and hiding sharp stuff never works because im truly addicted to cutting and i always find ways to cut. this isnt fair because the doctors are saying ill get better if i stop cutting but actually im miserable without it and i get caught everytime even if i try to hide it cuz my mom inspects my arms, legs, and stomach every chance she gets.

Whenever people compile a list of who they think is the greatest 'rock guitarist' of all time is, 99% of the people on that list came after Jimi Hendrix's time. This is because 'rock and roll' is now over 50 years old. Jimi died when 'rock and roll' was around 15 years old. Where do you think Jimi would be on that list had he of lived?
I realize some Hendrix fans already place him at the 'top of the list'.
What sort of twists and turns do you think his career might have taken during the 70's, 80's, 90's up to the present?
Before he died, he was trying to get in touch with the young black people of America, and considered working with several funk bands, and collaborating with Rashaan Roland Kirk and Miles Davis.
Or would his career have mimicked the other 60s guitar legends such as Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck? Do you think he might have covered versions of Bob Marley songs and dabbled with jazz fusion the was the two aforementioned artists have?
Here's a chance to get creative! What if?
