you know, the ones where you are jumping hundreds of feet above 30 cars? how would I get a job doing that? and I am well aware of life expectancy haha, I just want to know how I could obtain a position like that.

First off, the odds are very stacked against you, however if it is a dream of yours then follow it. You'll never know if you dont try.

The only advice I can offer is buy a bike (preferably not new) and practice, practice, practice.
If you are wanting to do all the freestyle jumps and such I would imagine you would have to find someone that has some of those skills to help you get started.

Expect to crash a lot. And I mean A LOT and spend a good deal of time in the hospital.
The top pros didn't get to where they are now without paying their dues.

It's a very serious occupation, you have to be totally committed to it and there is more to it than just getting on your bike and going out and jumping a ramp(geometry, wind calculations, etc.) it's obvious you just watched the "ghost rider" movie, that's a fantasy..... I can honestly say i was there when Seth Enslow jumped over 230feet and over shot his landing and slammed his face into the handlebar clamps(watch the video on youtube) the video is not enough, just being there and hearing the impact of his head hitting the bars sent chills up my spine.....So, if you think it would all fun and games and thinking you wont make mistakes....you will not last long. Stick to just jumping triples at the local MX track you will live longer.
Just to remind you this is the "Motorcycle Racing" category we answer serious questions about (GP racing, MX racing, Drag Bike Racing, Supermoto Racing, Pit Bike Racing, Freestyle MX, Flat Track Racing, Stunt Bike Riding, and even Motorcycle Jumping) If your just joking around and your not serious about your question, then i suggest you go back to the "Relationship" category and stay there and talk about your feelings....Be gone squid!
