My husband is trying out for a thing in the military in another state and he will be returning soon. He has been gone for 1 month and I want to do something special for him upon his return home. He will have gone through some hard times physically and mentally and I want him to come home to something nice and relaxing, but special. Candlelite dinners and movies are boring. I thought about buying a sexy costume and dressing up for him, but I would have to go and pick him up from the airport, so I may or may not do that. (Especially dressed like a french maid!) I need to do something super creative and something to blow his mind away and say WOW, that was special. Can anyone shoot me some ideas? Thanks:)

Have any of you who support Socialized Healthcare in the U.S. actually stopped to think about what this will involve?

First of all, look at all of the problems we are having with any other such government controlled programs like Welfare and Social Security - Both in shambles.

Now do you honestly want the same people responsible for that mess to pick your doctors for you and tell you when you have to have a checkup?

Why are you willing to put your health and well-being into the hands of carreer politicians who essentially will be running the medical proffession and telling doctors what they can or cannot do?

Now what of the people who choose to remain independant fron Nationalized Healthcare? Have you stopped to think about how much insurance rates will soar.

It is estimated that there will be AT MINIMUM a 20% increase in Federal Income taxes to maitain this program. Do you realize how much 20% more will cost you per year?

I live in Scotland and my mate is at the end of her tether with her wee boy- 21 year old layabout! He has not worked in the past year and continually puts pressure on her to feed, clothe and taxi him around. He paid her one month's rent almost a year ago and since, has had his mates make sure he enjoys nights out and mobile phone comforts. My mate is working all week to pay back rent arrears that were incurred when he decided to become a sponger.Does she have a legal leg to stand on if she throws him out?? Does she need police back up??She loves him dearly, but he is dragging her down and she is getting utterly desperate.Where does she stand legally if she packs his bags and tells him to go? He can throw the biggest, scariest wobbly when she tries to reason with him about the lack of contributions towards his upkeep. I'm concerned that he may try to give her a thump!! Can anybody help? Cheers.

I have this friend who used to be really fun and stuff. She's still fun, but she's different. She started wearing makeup and really caring about her appearance when before, she was more careless and crazy. She also likes this guy, and he's like, all she'll talk about, and i promised her that i won't go out with him if he asks me cuz she thinks he might like me. But now, i think that i might like him and i don't want to tell her cuz she'll be crushed, but i don't know what to do if he does like me and asks me out.

my last question was my husband friend wants my kids for 2hrs to carry them out and about ayr ago asked for them for 2wks one of the ans that i got suggested that because we wanted to go on the holiday they saw it as an opportunity to help out. first to begin with the first time when he asked for them for the two weeks it was so that me and my husband can go on a holiday we had no plans of even going on a holiday he and his wife came to us with this idea that we should go on a holiday and he his wife and children 10,14,and 17 will stay in my house with my kids my babies were only 1,2,and 4.now that they not much older why would he a 60yr old man want my 2yr girl my 3yr girl and 5 yr boy for 2hrs and just to carry them out and when i said no he was annoyed with me shouldn't he just accept how i feel about it.

Each of my eyes are past 20/400. Would corrective surgery help get it to around 20/30 or better? I have astigmatism in my left eye.

I am in college working towards a microbio degree but I also really want to join the state police VERY much! Should I chance it? How much would a severe case like this cost?

She keeps insisting that "having papers" means to become a naturalized U.S. citizen and I keep telling her no it means having a temporary work I.D, work visa or green card. I know this because I'm a permanent legal resident, but she keeps insisting that she's right!!!...She also claims that when an illegal immigrant marries a U.S. citizen they get automatic citizenship but I know for a fact that they only get legal resident status and that they can apply for citizenship after 3 years of having their green card. Can someone answer this so I can prove to her I'm right! Thanks.. LOL

ok, to begin with, im male. my question is, well, i normally wear boxer briefs, but lately ive been finding them uncomfortable. i like the support, but what is begining to annoy me is the elastic waist band. im finding it ever so uncomfortable. that and the material is pretty uncomfortable as well. anyone have any suggestions on underwear that is soft - comfortable, and doesnt have the stupid elastic waist band, im pretty much ready to try ne thing cept boxers because they tend to bunch up. links would help

he came to me the other day and told me that he is like so in love with this girl. He described her to me and i think that they would make the prefect couple. only one thing is standing in the way of them getting together. and that is the fact that she is only 16 years old and her dad is my friends boss and my boss. i cant even look my boss in the eyes anymore ever since my friend told me that he loves our boss's daughter. Did you see this video of Bush announcing the invasion of Iraq. The part starting about 2:57 through about 3:20 is where he states the specific reason for the urgency of his action.

My follow up question is..given what has transpired since that speech, do you think the Iraq invasion should have happened? Do you think the occupation since then is justified? I am merely asking questions in hope of getting citizens to express themselves about this. I know that my mere asking a question that asks for thoughtful intellingent response is an affront to some, but I will risk it and ask anyway.

In the backwoods of Kentucky a redneck's wife went into labor in the middle of the night, and the doctor was called out to assist in the delivery.
Since there was no electricity, the doctor handed the father-to-be a lantern and said, "Here you hold this high so I can see what I am doing."
Soon a baby boy was brought into the world. "Whoa there," said the doctor, "don't be in such a rush to put that lantern down. I think there's another one coming."
Sure enough, within minutes he had delivered a baby girl. "Hold that lantern up, don't set it down, there's another one!" said the doctor.
Within a few minutes, he had delivered another baby girl. "No, no, don't be in a hurry to put down that lantern, it seems there's yet another one coming!" cried the doctor.
The redneck scratched his head in bewilderment, and asked the doctor, "You reckon it might be the light that's attractin' 'em?"
