Can we learn online? Our wedding is in 2 weeks. :) I know that's soon, but is it possible to dance a good Tango in such a short amount of time? Any suggestions for dance lessons online or in the Clearwater, FL area?

You can certainly find instruction online - youtube is probably your best bet.

Learning in two weeks will depend on quite a few things ...

have you both danced before?
have you ever danced with a partner (with your parents as a kid counts ;)
are you hoping to look perfect, or like you're having a good time and mostly know what you're doing?

I would say give it a go .. if you feel you aren't where you want to be for the wedding, maybe you've found a fun past time for the years ahead :) It will probably be a good stress reliever for the next couple weeks as well.

There were quite a few results for studios near clearwater .. I don't know anything about them though ..

Good luck! and Congratulations!

If you have only two weeks you should find a ballroom dance instructor in a hurry. You won't be able to learn from youtube or any other media or on-line source, especially in such a short time. You can learn a wedding version of Tango in two weeks with a good intructor. But, from my experience, the closer you get to the date the busier you get with other stuff. So you don't really have much time. You can look for a ballroom dance studio on http://www.ballroomdancers.com/Directory/
The same website has on-line instruction for those who are learning ballroom. You can give it a shot, but I really think you need a life person to explain you this stuff to make it quick and efficient

My dance partner had trained his relative in two weeks, and it worked out well for her and her fiance.

I believe that if this is something that was really close to your heart & life it would be something that you already know how to do - because you would have danced this dance before. Perhaps you should consider whether this is actually the 'right' thing for you to pursue for your reception - is there not something else that is more appropriate for you two? Something that is so much a part of who you are (thus important & 'real') that you already know how to do it and take joy in doing it already? Another dance? A special toast? A cultural ritual? Etc.?
