That Alonso is driving a McLaren at all this weekend speaks volumes for his utter balls and Ron Dennis' patience. It's an unimaginable disgrace and I genuinely feel for Ron, he is in a no win situation with Alonso; a driver so single minded that he puts his needs and seeming obsessive desire to beat his excellent rookie team mate over common decency.
How must his mechanics feel knowing their driver, who they work damn hard for, would quite happily shop his own team to the authorities on a whim?
Alonso should be incredibly ashamed of himself as he is doing the legacy of world champions NO good at all.
No matter how bad Schumacher was, can you really imagine him doing this to Ferrari?

Consecutive world champions only earn the respect of their fellow competitors if they treat them respectfully, Alonso would do well to realise this.

As I was watching on TV the F1 Practice at Spa I also heard about these allegations regarding Alonso blackmailing Dennis and allegedly trying to get Hamilton replaced. I have been looking at the AP's comments and looking for any evidence of this but no info. But I feel that Alonso maybe did try to use the Stepheny -Gate scandal as a form to try to push his hand and luck at trying to get rid of Hamilton in an effort to win the F1 Championship for a 3rd time. Alonso and Hamilton have obviously had many disputes and problems this season (pole position, race orders, etc...) this seems as a very dirty and underhanded thing to do if Alonso really tried to black male Dennis. Either way I think Alonso wont last long w/ his team nor w/ Dennis, I would think he might stay for 1 more season w McLaren if he somehow beats Hamilton and wins the championship just to put on a face at as if everything is great and also since McLaren is currently the only team w a competitive edge on Ferrari. If Hamilton keeps a hold of his lead and wins the championship as a rookie I can almost asure you that Alonso will be leaving McLaren and heading to a different team (I can only think of BMW or Ferrari as a realistic option since they are part of the top 3, but BMW has already confirmed both drivers for next season). Keep in mind Alonso moved to McLaren to win another championship, he never thought Hamilton would be leading ahead of him, if anything Alonso would of thought that he would of had the same treatment that Ferrari gave Schumacher with the famous team orders w his partner Barrichello. Alonso has not had a good time in McLaren it has been a very rocky road for him this year. If he tried to blackmail Dennis I can assure you the team would not want him back, and even if these allegations are not true I think the relationship between Alonso and McLaren will not improve if Hamilton remains in the team. I see it best fit for both Alonso to leave McLaren either after this or next season and for McLaren to keep Hamilton and do what Ferrari did w Schumacer keep him for a long great time and win a lot, lol :). I think Alonso will do better w another team and w a team that has him as a priority seen how he does come off as being a very selfish type and seems to want all the advantages to his side. I say this because I think it was wrong what he did after the Hungarian GP, he told McLaren that he wanted separate pit crews for him and Hamilton (the team had to be divided for 1 race, this does not boost team morale) and then he requested that his car setup not be shared w Hamilton. Obviously Alonso is scared of Hamilton's potential. So no, i dont think McLaren will endear him, lol. Sorry for the long response but I wanted to explaining why I felt the way I do.

I don't think it it will, somehow I doubt that Ron Dennis will take kindly to his attempts at blackmail. At the same time I don't think that Ron Dennis endeared himself to Alonso by informing the FIA. With all that has happened I can't see Alonso driving for McLaren next season.

Its a tricky situation for Ron Dennis. In an August 2007 letter to Macaluso, RD had said "It is in the interests of Formula 1 that whistle-blowing is encouraged and not
discouraged." This is what Alonso threatened to do, the boss' wish exactly.

Now you make the decision on endearment!

Alonso is the worst sporstman I even have ever seen in F1 !! he's one in all those undesirable loser and doesnt understand a thank you to settle for that there could be somebody extra constructive than him. strengthen UP ! i think of McClaren are being too superb to Alonso, all approximately profesionalism ! If i've got been Ron Dennis i might have instructed Alonso to stuff the settlement and wander away. what attitude the guy gets away with!! curiously interior the chinese language Qualifying Alonso replaced into slamming doors and sulking to everybody at McClaren I mean come on! If i've got been interior the team i might stick a nail in one his tyres, that'd prepare him ! i'm praying with all my ought to for Hamilton to win ! look look Alonso's having a tantrum lower back !

This is not a perfect answer, but I`m sure the terms and conditions were laid down before Alonso signed for Mclaren, he`s just a whinging, whining, devious spick, behaving like a spoilt brat who will use any means to get his own way. In an ideal world he should have been fired on the spot, don`t know what will happen next season but an ideal partner would be Coultard, shame he`s tied to Red Bull, with his long time experience he could help with input into the development of the car and he knows how to behave like a gentleman, unlike a certain ill mannered spick.

What I dont understand about this fiasco is this:
The drivers were warned by the F1A that they must come clean about all information they hold, otherwise they may be banned from racing and have any points already awarded removed.
If Alonso is now using the threat of passing info to the f1a unless he gets his way, then obviously he has witheld information and should, in line with the governing bodies statement, be banned.
He has witheld information.

Alonso has over stepped the mark,
What did he think Ron would do ? roll over for him, i don't think so.
Get rid at the end of season and put Jenson in the car.
Jenson a true driver and don't throw his toys out of pram, well
not in public, too loyal too Honda.

This was all about Alonso throwing his toys out of the pram :

Hamilton signs up for Mclaren.

Hamilton does better than Alonso.

Alonso gets peed off.

Alonso resorts to cheating and blackmail.
