We are being charge for towing and storage fees from the tow yard when the police recovered our stolen vehicle. It was found in a persons backyard and when the officer called us on a friday at 8:30pm, my husband asked if he can come pick up the truck, officer said no he has to tow it because he has to book it. No one told us we would have to pay for the towing and storage fees. All the officer said was " you have to go down to the FMT police tomorrow and we will give you the release form and you take that to the tow yard and you can pick up your truck" . We went to the police and signed/received the release form and I asked the clerk is there a charge when we go there to thetow yard? she said no you just take this release form and pick up your truck. Arrived at the tow yard they told uswe have to pay for the towing and storage fees. Police are stating yes it's our responsibilty. Is there anything we can do legally and hold the police or thief responsible for the charges??

Am I weird because, Im 19 and I have friends but most of the time I just want to stay home,I go out every once and a while ..but all my friends love to go out every night and party..Im just not into that scene...I dream of meeting a mature guy and getting married and having a home life...you know doing the laundry ,cooking,cleaning,grocery shopping going out to eat with my husband etc...just having a quiet married life and all my friends and family think im weird because of this...Do You..????

We've got a raccon problem and my stepfather is using a crappy pellet gun to suppodedly scare them away. Well it's not working and i'm thinking about buying a 22 rifle. I don't have any felonies and i'm 26 years old so there shouldn't be a problem for to purchase a rifle. I'm just curious if I have to wait to get the gun or if I can purchase the rilfe and get it the same day I purchased it.

Why is it that I knew, at the time of the invasion, that the American military was overestimating the abilities of the Iraqi military, but the CHAIRMAN OF THE JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF had no idea?????

I'm serious - isn't this scary? I have NO military experience whatsoever, and I knew.

if I file a complaint about a couple that keeps calling me at work they just want to argue with me...but they never threatened me ..i just want them to leave me alone...the wife won't stop bugging me coz i had an affair with her husband ..if i file a harrasment charges against them am i gonna win??? but they blocked their calls and they have proof that i was calling their phone too...if i file will they go to jail? what's the worst thing that can ever happen to them if i win the case?

I hear alot of people throw around the slang "backyard breeder". Ive read many many posts regarding their vile selfish money grubbing nature. I even read one question seeking a new name for them so that irresponsible pet owners would be more willing to own up to their dirty deeds and actually consider themselves one. I read alot of really nasty comments. I saw alot of name calling and blaming. I noticed many long lists detailing what they are, what they do and why they deserve the worst corridors of hades. What I have NOT seen is a list of things that qualify breeders as "responsible" or "professional". Please enlighten the uneducated masses and explain what defines one, versus the other.

i feel like i do, and have been thinking about it.
My love does not love me back, i have been waiting for him for so long but he does not come to me, even talk to me, even ask me how i am. After our love affair, he is acting different.
I love him too deeply, noone will love him as much as i do, i think about him day and night, i pray to forget about him, i pray for him to love me, but i failed. I just want to end my heartache.

Hi,
This has been really bugging me. I am very faithful about doing a partial (1/4) water change every week on all my tanks. I add the correct amount of dechlor to the water, and make sure its chemistry is close to the tanks. I change my filter cartidges once a month, and feed my fish twice a day. None of my tanks are overstocked, this is what I have-
-1 male betta in 10 gallon w/ power filter set on low and heater that keeps water at 78-80F
-1 male betta in 5 gallon w/ undergravel filter and heater that keeps water at 78-80F
-2 male bettas in divided 10 gallon w/ heater that keeps water at 78-80F and 2 small power filters
-1 29 gallon w/ 12 female bettas, a heater that keeps the water at 76-78F, 4 bronze cories, and 1 small dwarf pleco w/ 55 gallon power filter
