Many wannabe Christians fatso's sit on their fat a#* and knock people who drink alcohol. Jesus lumped alcohol and over eating together. Have you controlled your eating as you demand others stop their alcohol? If you are fat you are not a Christian.

My 17 year old son got into some legal trouble in the early spring. We have been to court several times and the judge imposed a curfew of 8 pm nightly. He has complied and never missed his curfew. His probation officer explained that as long as he is with his parent(s) he doesn't have to be at home as this isn't house arrest just a curfew. In other words, he can go places with his parent(s) after 8 pm but not alone. We notified probation that we would be out of town for the weekend to see the Green Bay Packer, Pa Eagles game and the court refuses to let him attend with his parents. My question is this, if he has a curfew and is suddenly being told he cannot attend events with his parents (that was not stated at any time during any court appearance or in any papers) is it considered double jeapordy? I am in no way defending what my son has done, but more trying to understand what they are doing. btw, every time I call probation, they never give me a straight answer, just the run around

I konw the 'guideline' is 6 months but did anyone actually wait that long? It seems a bit late to me, my first was 4 and a half months when she seemed to want to start (i.e trying to put her hands in my dinner, waking and feeding more frequently).
When did you start solids and why?

My daughter is 16 months old, and she still nurses? I once heard that pedeutritions recommend one year of nursing, however 2 yrs is excellent. I have no problems with it and it keep my little girl happy and healthy.
I have been getting alot of slack from friends and family saying she is too old to be nursing. But I have no problems with it. At first I lost weight but now that I am at the average weight I am supposed to be at, I do not go any lower, even though I continue to nurse...and I do not do it as much anymore.
What are your opinions?

stripper, escort/call girl, or something to that effect, what would your reaction be? Would you think less of her? Would you stay with her?

"That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition" THESSALONIANS 2

my friend became vegan but she doesnt eat alot to begin with. i know her from school and she did take lunch class but she never ate and when holiday season comes around and all the teachers give out candy she never eats it saying that it contains too many unhealthy things like high calories or something. another time during a drama studies party we could bring our own food and she brought in some vegetables like carrots but never ate anything saying that she was only going to get fat and that her nutritionist told her that she is overweight and cant eat anymore. i thought that was a little exaggerated but i noticed she barely eats and claims to be vegan. she has lost alot of weight ever since and she used to be 130 pounds, now she is about 110 and this was only about a month ago to two months ago i thought it was very unhealthy that a 16 year old girl who is 5 feet tall would lose so much weight. what advice should i give her? should i tell her to stop being vegan and eat some meat

A slave was used to carry out work that somebody else couldn't do. Several groups were tried as slaves in the beginning but black people seemed to be more fruitful to the trade and that's why the Atlantic was crossed many many times. A slave was also often abused both physically and verbally. I don't know if we should call that hatred or dislike for the slave. And this is where the other perspective comes in.

If the slave was disliked so much that he was constantly abused why did they continue to bring or breed more of what that society claimed to not like. Wasn't this because the slave had alot of value/was of great value to the business then? This argument can be strengthened by the fact that both the African western coast as well as the eastern coast experienced this. People were exiting from all directions. So is it true that a slave can be degraded/devalued, through language and action, by the very same society to which he is/ has been of great value. Don't you think so?
