My 6 month old will sometimes take two long daytime naps (1-2 hours each) and sometimes take two short daytime naps (30-45 minutes each).

Her nighttime sleep will be almost 11 hours if she took the short naps, however if she took the long naps then she will only sleep about 9 hours at night.

What's more valuable for her health and development - the daytime sleep or the nighttime?

Should I limit the length of her daytime naps so that she will sleep the longer amount at night? Or should I let her nap as long as she wants during the day even if it means that she lose out on sleep at night?

My daughter is pretty tall for her age, compared to a lot of kids her age. She only weighs around 27lbs. Is this OK. She's my first and a lot of the kids at her daycare are pretty stout so I was just wondering. Plus, she's a finnicky eater. Thanks.

I have an aero bed and it inflates fine, but then overnight it very slowly deflates so that in the morning it is very soft and uncomfortable. Is there a way to find the leak point and patch it?

WR: Colston, Javon Walker, or Reggie Brown?

These are for the #2 spots for each. #1 WR is TO and #1 RB is Addai

I'm honestly interested in knowing what the basis for helping others would be if you don't believe in God--doesn't that go against Darwinian evolution? It seems illogical to not just be concerned with your own needs, if we are not connected in some higher way.

It seems that certain religions have contributed a lot to our idea of the right way to treat others--I just wondered what an atheist would say is the origin of their respect of humanity.

My question is a sincere wish for enlightenment--thanx for any insight you can give!

I have had a gut feeling since i found out i was pregnantthat this baby would be a boy and even had dreams where they announced it's a boy at birth. i know it's crazy but have any of you had the doctors tell you girl or boy and the baby be the other gender and you just have a gut feeling about it. i can't shake this feeling. I want to buy the baby stuff but i can't every time i pick out something girly i end up putting it back(lol) because it don't feel right. I want to buy the things i know we will need but i don't want my girl wearing blue and a boy wearing pink. LOL

I want to post my pictures where people can and will look free of charge. I don't want to put them in with a lot of gross pornography or stupid pictures made by drunken amateurs. I could do a private show, but nobody would know it was there. How can I show my pictures where people will look?

Higher prices of consumer commodities mostly hit the poor countries more acutely. Therefore, some sort of control will benefit the majority of the people in the world who are poor. Instead of numerous charity works through hundreds of NGOs should not we investigate the possibilities of controlling prices of consumes commodities internationally, since the world is a global city now.
