Loads of adults drink alcohol but why is it so famous? Whats so good about drinking it? why choose alcohol when you can choose soda? what makes it so good?

my son is just about 7 weeks old,he weighed 8lbs 7oz at birth and at his last appt when he was 6 weeks old he was already at 13 1/2 lbs,doctor said he is healthy but his weight is off the charts. he is a little fatty and seems to want to eat 4 oz's every 2-21/2 hours. sometimes i try to wait until 3 hours but he doesnt have that =(
for mothers who have put cereal in the bottle when did u first start and was your baby still healthy and happy?i just wanna keep him a little fuller for a little longer time periods. this question is not intended for people who advise against it. my mom did this with all 8 of us and i do have 2 other children,i just dont remember when i started. thanks in advance =)

I tried ignoring him completely, but then he started letting the door slam in my face and things like this. This is a problem, because we have to work together. My husband and I have a life insurance policy stating if either one of us dies our house will be paid off. He also has a seperate insurance policy through his employer stating if he is killed in the line of duty I will recieve benefits for the rest of my life. Could a judge order me to sell my home and split everything with his ex? I had a friend who's father died and at the time he was re-married living in a nice home with his wife. A judge ordered this man's wife to sell the house and split the money with the daughter. Since my husband is a police officer I worry all the time and want 2 b prepaired if he dies. My husband's ex-wife is very greedy and I am worried that if anything ever happens to him she will try to take everything I own. My husband and I have been married for several years and have a child together. He also has two other children with his ex. Do they have the right to sue me and take me to the cleaners if my husband dies. Or does the current wife have the most rights?

The degredation of the mind due to Alzheimer's disease proves that the mind and, resultantly, the human consciousness are both transient things.

Does this prove that most preconceived notions of an afterlife are fundamentally flawed? Most people believe that we will be able to perceive, evaluate and understand any kind of afterlife that may exist.

But clearly, as Alzheimers proves, the mind cannot possibly survive without a functioning human body. It is a possibility that a kind of eternal soul lives on, but, surely, if the consciousness dies then the thing that makes you an individual, self-aware human will cease also.

I'm about to buy a victorian house. When I viewed it, it had holes in the roof (water pouring through) and holes in the walls, (which were in the meantime patched up) and it needs new central heating, new windows and rewiring. It also suffers from rising damp.
It was dumped on the market at asking price 349.000, by a vendor, who himself bought it just two months ago for 250.000...Any property experts out there? What offer would you make? What's going on? (I assume the vendor is related to the estate agent, by the way, they both have the same surname). Could you recommend a website or property forum, where I can get more info? Thanks a lot
