Okay, is it just me, or do some people who go to yard sales really need a lesson in manners? We had a multi-family yard sale this weekend, and there were so many rude people, more than I have encountered before. Some examples:
1. This man walked the whole way through, looked at everyone's items for sale, and then said very loudly, "There's nothing here but JUNK!"
2. My sister-in-law had a sofa for $10. A lady walked by, looked at it, and said, "$10 for that? I wouldn't take that crap if you gave it to me for free."
3. Another lady stopped at my table with her husband, who was looking at a coffee maker I had for sale. He wanted to buy it to replace the carafe they had broken. I had $5 on it, and was ready to lower it to $3 if they just wanted it for the carafe. His wife got really snippy and said, "Why should I pay $5 for that when I can get a brand new one for not much more?" I didn't bother offering the lower price.
Anyone else have rude people at their yard sales?
