Given a set of integers, write all of them as a product of prime powers.Then rewrite them using THE SAME PRIMES for all (possibly with exponent 0). The gcf is the product of those same primes, each raised to the lowest power for that prime in the list. Example: to find the gcf of180, 54, and 8100, find

180 = (2^2)*(3^2)*(5^1)
54 = (2^1)*(3^3)*(5^0)
8100 = (2^2)*(3^4)*(5^2).

Now the gcf is (2^1)*(3^2)*(5^0) = 18.
