I had the same thing last year, where i kept coughing mucus, and i have to keep blowing my nose (my mucus/boogers are green which i always thought was a sign of an infection). I could have sworn last year when i had this same thing, i got meds. from my doctor, but my mom says i didnt.

What can i do about all of this. I keep coughing and cough drops only help for 20 min max.

Also, i don't drink tea, no matter what, so that answer is out.

=] thanks in advance!

You can drink apple cidar, and warm soup. When you cough try and get the mucus out and try hard not to swollow it. by blowing your nose a lot that also helps get infection out of your system. drinking water will clean out your system. and go with the halls anestetic cough drops. they are so nasty but they help a ton. feel better soon!

The Countess has told you what to do. Soy milk instead of mucus generating dairy products.

Besides that you could also switch from mucus generating red meat to white meat. Fish is better than chicken.

Dairy products are the worst for sinus problems followed by red meat.

Lots of water to help loosen the mucous and make it come out more easily.

And yes, I am going to suggest tea. Try it: You might like it! :-)

But if you don't, try hot soup instead.

By the way, you said this happened the same time last year. Is there a chance you have some seasonal allergy?
