I got into an argument with someone. They say a barcode [just a regular little paper barcode] will make a security detector at the door of a store go off. I disagree and think this is false. I think that the barcode does not affect the security detector. Only the special security devices installed in the packaging do.
Am I right or wrong?

There's this guy I hang around with sometimes through mutual friends. He's my best friend's neighbour, and I've known him for about three years. Anyway, one of the most attractive things about me (so I'm told) is my sense of humour, and in the past, when I've said something funny, he and his friends would all laugh along. But recently - for about the past two weeks - he hasn't laughed. All his friends would, but the best he can manage is a weak smile. But if anyone else says something funny, he will laugh. It's just with me that he acts so serious all the time.

I don't think anything has changed between us in the recent past, so why has his attitude towards me changed so much?

Hehe. There are a couple of songs that when I listen to them (at an appropriate volume, lol) I just get blown away. It's similar to the feeling of falling in love. My heart twists, I get goosebumps, my limbs start trying to move by themselves. Anyone know this feeling? My songs are:

In 2005, I received a distribution from an IRA. The IRA was my mother's and she died in 2005. The money was somewhere between 16 and 17,000. I did not file a 2005 tax return.
