You'll need any combination of a street trading licence, a Premises Licence or series of Temporary Event Notices (if you're selling hot food/drink any time between 11pm and 5am) and you'll need registration as a food premises.

Unfortunately which you'll need and the cost of each will vary depending on exactly what you'll be providing and where, so it'd be best to speak to someone at your local council for details.

The food premises registration is really the only definite. Getting a premises licence for your patch isn't too cheap and the application process takes a month at minimum - moving about would require an application for each new spot.

To drive a normal van you only need a car licence. To tow a trailer you need the category plus category E So a car/van and trailer is cat B+E. If you don't have B+E on your full licence you need a test towing a trailer. A 7.5 tonne is a category C1, trailer would be C1+E Category C is a rigid HGV, C+E articulted.

Good questions but the laws and regulations are different for each state and city. I promise the information you are looking for will be under licensing area of your official city or state website. That's where I would look.

Sounds like a decent idea, I would be very careful with all the health questions related to beef and potential liabilities. However, perhaps you can refine the idea a little and obtain your dream
