Japanese people think that Hispanics are generally good people who have good family values and are really passionate towards other people and life. Additionally, they like to eat Salsa and dance to really hot Latin beats. However, at the same time, they also view some Hispanics as no-good-schleprocks who do nothing with their time and are a total waste of space to society. It ultimately depends on the individual.

Japan is the most racist country in the world. If looks could kill i wouldn't be here writing this. They probably won't attack you but you will definately know your place. they are worse than america. I know because i am living in this hell and its worse than the american 60's but without the water cannons. however, i have witnessed a group of let's say 15 japanese men beat down a man who was hispanic in color and made him get on his hands an knees bow and kiss the ground before they left him alone. the police just drove by and watched this helpless fellow. this incident occured in a busy intersection as cars just rolled past watching. so I dont put hatred/assault beyond the japanese people. and sometimes they look like they really wanna get "froggy" because you are here in their country, even if you are minding your own business. watch those teenager boys, they are just a few feet away from being thugs like at home in gangs. If you ain't japanese, forget coming here. you are not welcomed and they will gladly demonstrate this and show you the door the hell out if you are trying to live here. They seem to hate blacks the most but worship the ground whites walk on. the whites know that here so your treatment from whites here will be more intense than humbly at home in america.,you may be misconstrued as arab or hindi which they hate too! if i could post photos i would show you the "japanese only" and "no foreigners" signs in stores and shops.

I think they treat hispanics the same way they treat white Americans. I'm hispanic and I've never been met with any hostility before. Actually, people don't even think I'm hispanic, even though my skin color is darker than white Americans. They probably figure I'm some Brazilian or something, given the large number of them in the Shiga area. But I've always been treated ok.

Probably a lot of Japanese don't even know hispanics or thier stereotypes at all. Most never even met one, so there's no real general way of thinking regarding the hispanics. To Japanese, they're nothing special really, mostly because of lack of knowledge.

Well, there isn't that much racism directed at Hispanics. There is a large Brazilian population, but not as many Spanish speakers, so there hasn't been enough exposure for much specific racism to develop. If you are cooperative, fairly quiet and polite, and make an attempt to learn the language and customs, you probably won't have that much trouble, at least not with racism.

Japanese people are even prejudice toward their own people. If you're from a certain part of Japan or have diluted "Japanese blood" then you're pretty much ostracized from society. They're pretty strict about what a 'real' Japanese is.

No, i have been to Japan and have met many hispanics. They fit in perfectly well in Japan. But the Japanese really hate the chinese for their continuous nagging of past events. I have many Japanese friends and they don't like china or anyone who has anything to do with china.

They don't know what exactly hispanics are. Can you describe the difference between Chinese, Cantonese and Taiwanese?

i dont know much hispanics in japan.
coz, i think, hispanics and japanese are totally different. i live in LA now. i know lots of hispanics.
i had some experience of hispanics in tokyo.

he was owner of guatemalan restaurant. he said "japanese are fastidious about everything. they dont know how to enjoy their life."
i do understand what he said.
and i also thought if he cant change himself he cant accommodate to japan.

japanese are very strict about rules, regulations and being on time.
