Against Yahoo for discrimination and violation of First Amendment Rights, based on unjustified suspension of Yahoo Answers' accounts. I am looking for people that have been suspended from Yahoo before for "abuse", and have written e-mails asking for further information, I would need saved copies of these e-mails. Please leave your e-mail so that I can contact you. This is for real, Im sick of Yahoo stepping all over people and thinking they can get away with this.

You are welcome to try and find an attorney who will take this case, but I doubt anyone will.

First, Yahoo is a private company, and this is a private forum -- 1st Amendment protections don't apply, because they only prevent govt action -- not private action.

Second, as a private company granting people free access to their servers and systems, Yahoo has clearly defined Terms of Service which set forth who can do what -- and they explicitly reserve the right to kick anyone off if they feel like it, for any reason or no reason. So, as a matter of contract, you agreed to those conditions by using the service.

Third, you cannot recover damages unless you have lost income or paid moneys for services not rendered. Yahoo is a free service (for the most part) and is explicitly non-commercial. So, unless you paid money for some special features that you are being denied (without a refund), there are no damages you can collect.

You can be sick of Yahoo if you want. But they have every legal right to get away with this -- such is the nature of free internet services anywhere in the US.

Give us some examples of the kind of posts you got complaints about. The people who are complaining that they got deleted like this are never saints that I've noticed.
