we muslims are really trying to make you know our religion and how great it is and there are people who i really respect them have no probleme with that , but there are others who does not even know Islam , and they stop you when you want to talk .
why don't we try to understand and know each other ,
why don't we just live in peace , believe me it's very good.

I've got a gas-guzzling, muscle car (not the best commuter car!) that I bought when I was younger and didn't know any better. With gas prices still sky-high in the Bay Area, this is killing me!! I know nothing about motorcycles other than they're good on gas and they can get through traffic better than the boat that I'm driving. What would be the best for my size if I were to get a sport bike or a chopper/cruiser??

This lets out a very bad smell if we flush anything or not. Rotor rooter told us we had a cracked pipe under our steps. We hired an independent guy who told us that the trees in the next yard roots were getting pipes clogged and our sewer needed snaking from the out side every few months. Rooter rooter wants at least 3,000 to repair the so-called pipe. Who is right and what exactly is happening. Why would this independent guy be dancing around this problem the rotor rooter diagnosed? Is there any way we can test the theory?

After all, we DO have a professional army, whose job it is to fight. Nobody made them join up, unlike previous major wars, where men were enlisted to fight, whether they liked it or not. As a National Serviceman, along with many others, I was sent to fight in Korea, (of all places!) Aren't we being a bit "soppy" about our boys abroad? Nobody in their right minds wants them harmed in any way, but they DID take it on as their job. Or have I missed the point about their being professionals (or even mercenaries)?

A doctor at an insane asylum decided to take his patients to a baseball game.

For weeks in advance, he coached his patients to respond to his commands. When
the day of the game arrived, everything went quite well.

As the National Anthem started, the doctor yelled, "Up Nuts", and the patients complied by standing up.

After the anthem, he yelled, "Down Nuts", and they all sat back down in their seats.

After a home run was hit, the doctor yelled, "Cheer Nuts". They all broke out into applause and cheered.

When the umpire made a particularly bad call against the star of the home team, the Doctor yelled, "Booooo Nuts" and they all started booing and cat calling.

Comfortable with their response, the doctor decided to go get a beer and a hot dog, leaving his assistant in charge.

When he returned, there was a riot in progress. Finding his tizzied assistant, the doctor asked,
"What in the world happened?"

The assistant replied, "Well everything was going just fine until this guy walked by and yelled,
"PEANUTS!"

I was just wondering what part food plays in your life. As a chef (or cook) do you get the real joy from preparing food for others, than for yourself ? Of course I suppose... How do you like preparing food for yourself then? Is it something totally different, you just go and have some sandwitch or hot dog or just some salad, or you prefer going to a restaurant ?

It's because while preparing food for myself at home, I absorb the different smells of the flavours, spices, I get used to seeing the food, experiencing it in my hand, and my brain sort of gets all these messages and I feel full after I only PREPARED my meal. So I don't enjoy eating it anymore with such intensity after I had prepared it MYSELF ! This is something really unfortunate. Is it the case with you too???

P.S. Please indicate whether you are a professional chef or a cook like me. Out of curiousity... :)
