I am in the process of paying down my credit cards. I have four cards and currently they all about 90% maxed out. If i have them all below 30% in Novemeber. How long should i wait to apply for a loan to get cheapest rate? Also, I recently opened two new accounts about 3 months old. How long before they will show a positive look on my credit score? Because i read somewhere that opening new accounts has a negative affect on credit at first.

I have a wonderful husband, and he tells me I don't have to work if I don't want to (we are financially stable enough that I don't need to work). I would love to be a housewife, or 'lady of leisure.' Do the house work, and cook for him, do my craft and look after our dogs. But I feel a lot of pressure from his family to get out into the workforce, so much so that I am going to college and getting a degree. It's fun, and I love learning, but, it's just not what I really want to do. Has anyone else been in this situation? What are your thoughts on the subject?

going into yesterdays game (i dont know if he still is) had 9 home runs, 49 rbi, and is not in the top five fielding shortstops, so what is so great. Yankee fans dont talk about the past cuz that is all you ever do. (i.e. 26 rings)

I remember in a prayer that we said at my old church (Methodist) there were the words, "I believe in the Holy Spirit, The Holy Catholic Church, The Communion of Saints..." And I'm wondering, should I consider converting to Catholic? What is different between Catholic and Methodist? What does being Catholic mean for an individual?

I'm not sure what kind it is, but she was just laying there and it came out and start moving across the floor. It was thin and white.

She's about 7 years old, so I dont think it could be roundworms because I thought they had to be puppies before they could get those...

It could be tapeworms too, but i thought that they never actually came out in one big piece, i thought they just broke off in segments.

What do you think?
And yes, i'm taking her to the vet sometime next week when I'm off work.

my other laptop brokedown and I have installed o2jam in it a few months ago. When we have it checked, they said that the problem is on the motherboard. He did not say what exactly is the problem on the board. I don't know if o2jam is the reason why it broke down. Does playing games like o2jam in a laptop a lot of times cause the board's breakdown? what do you think?

I have lived in San Diego county for almost 8 years now. In those 8 years, there has probably been a total of 5 thunderstorms. We get plenty of rain storms, but lightning is VERY rare. I always assumed it had something to do with being so close to the ocean, and the storm needing to pass over land to build up the electricity for lightning or something like that.

In any case... I am intrigued because since this past Sunday there have been 3 lightning/thunder storms. 3 in 5 days after only 5 in 8 years?!?!

Can anybody explain why the change?? I love lightning, I am completely fascinated by it and always missed it when I moved from Colorado to California as a teenager... but I am just curious why there is a sudden frequency of lightning.
