my other laptop brokedown and I have installed o2jam in it a few months ago. When we have it checked, they said that the problem is on the motherboard. He did not say what exactly is the problem on the board. I don't know if o2jam is the reason why it broke down. Does playing games like o2jam in a laptop a lot of times cause the board's breakdown? what do you think?

YES, from too much pounding on the keyboard. Just connect a separate keyboard and it should be fine.

Software, games, etc. have nothing to do with breaking a physical part of a computer. The only exception would be if you used a overclocking utility. In that case your motherboard would have been pushed to the limits and would have heated up a lot. Another explanation might be that prolonged use of a computer can wear down cooling systems. That could have been the case with your laptop. If the cooling system wears down to a certain level then your board could fry. It's happened to me before. Hope this helps!

The fact is that as you computer get hotter and hotter this will decrease the cpu life spam, and the motherborad will suffer, that is why there are computers designed just for games because they can tolerate higher core temperatures. You may notice that while you was playing your computer was releasing a really hot air from the ventilation area, that overheat for a long period of time decrease the tolerance properties of metals and silicon in the computer.

it won't ruin it, the computer will just crash repeatedly if it cannot handle the graphics or sound requirements. I don't believe you can damage the actual motherboard, RAM, or other parts.
