this guy i really liked was putting out all the right signs that he was into me. so i started flirting and one day we were haning out just us two.. and he tried making out with me. i wasnt really ready to makeout with him...becuse i just kinda met him ...so i refused. he got really mad and started talking **** about me. one day i went up to him and tottaly said what was on my mind. even his friends stood up for me. later he was even mader becuse i embaresed him infront of his friends, then he had the guts to ask me out. i said no. did i do the right thing?

I've been divorced for 5 years and enjoy spending time with my girlfriend. We spend every weekend together and see each other once or twice a week. I don't want to spend all my free time with her, though, but I am. How do I talk to her about respecting my desire to be away from her? I have no interest in dating other women, and would like to visit friends or family out of town occasionally. She gets a little jealous, in fact she got upset when I mentioned going to my high school reunion. I wouldn't even mind if she came, not at all, but she can't travel. Help!! Ok, maybe this should be in the Singles & Dating category but high school kids can't help me here.

Riding to work this morning with my wife in her "98 Chevy Pickup. When she tried to turn on her wipers I heard a buzz behind the dash but the wipers didn't move. She turned the control on and off a few times and it made the same sound every time. On about the 4th or 5th try the wipers came on a worked fine the rest of the drive. Any ideas? I have a fair amount of mechanical ability but I rarely deal with electical issues and I've never worked on wipers. By the way, she had used the wipers earlier in the trip and they worked fine so I know this didn't happen because they were stuck.

I got my bachelors in mechanical engineering from a pretty good engineering school (UCSB) which ranks one of the highest in terms of research.

I've been wanting to pursue a master's degree at a school with similar prestige. However, I just found a good job in the aerospace industry that pays pretty well and I just got married.

I don't have time to get letters of recommendation or to take the GRE. I'm busy enough trying to support my wife and I. the only thing I could do is get an online master's degree.
