At 15, you cant really love someone. At this age it is better to be able to date different people then stay in a relationship. he should tell her that they are both maturing and right now he wants to be single, no hard feelings. Hopefully they will remain friends...

this situation was once me. i was with a guy for almost 6 years, loved him, but knew i had to see what else was out there.

my suggestion - the guy should mention that as much as he loves being with his girlfriend he wants a break. although this isn't the most original way of going about it, he would be able to just say that he wants to be on his own for a while. from there he could choose to be single or date others.

He just has to be completely honest with her...well maybe not the getting bored stuff...but he should just talk to her and tell her that he feels as tho he needs a change, that he loves her but more like a friend now...

If he's bored, he's not in love. His hormones are just telling him that he should move on and have a chance to meet some others. They are both too young to make a like commitment.

And kids wonder why life is so hard when they deliberately make choices to have boyfriends and girlfriends when they are too young to deal with the heavy stuff.

He needs to tell her they are too serious, they need to back off from the boyfirend/girlfriend stuff and just be FRIENDS!

Then he needs to be ONLY friends with everyone until he is out of college!

I know, I'm just one of those stupid adults who wants to cramp your style, right?

Live and learn then.

Be honest and tell her. It's better than playing those stupid games as ignoring or avoiding another person until he or she "gets a hint". If he had enough guts to start a relationship with her, he should have enough guts to tell her when the relationship is over.

You are all too young to feel this mixed up about relationships.
Your life will go on and you will meet other people. You will begin to see what you don't want, then you will see what you do want.
DON'T RUSH THESE THINGS!

the only thing this guy can do is just be honest, cuz if they still love each other then, maybe there is something else they can do to get that spark back....

Do not get into the middle of this! No matter what! DO NOT INTERFERE. Not even to give him advice. Just listen to him, if you have to.
