I don't know if these are still used, but the Kraffts used to use them. I have to know the answer for my science class--and NO, I am not cheating! *I* answered all of the other 20 questions by myself, and now I need to use my resources!
I think that the answer is because the asbestos suits are so protective, the volcanologists can't sense approaching lava or pyroclastic flow. Is this correct? If not, what's the real reason?

I heard about that new french president, Nicolas Sarkozy. I also heard that he was a pro-american. I was just wondering if this means france will be joining either of our wars. Or if france will be engaging itself into any wars by itself. If they do enter a war does this mean they might lose there surrendering reputation?

Last night I saw a mini-van packed full of Mexicans at the store. As they were leaving I noticed the cartoon with the boy P*ssing on something with a hat on turned backwards.
In the past I have seen it for people with different makes of cars making fun or cutting down other brands of cars.
This one on their van the hat was made to resemble a Mexican flag, and the guy is P*ssing on the American Flag crumpled up at his feet.

Does anyone else think this disrespect is getting out of hand?

And before you pro's start with your crap about me being scared, I want to know how many of you will jump a van full of guys by yourself when you can't see if they are armed.

I tried this in a different section, but I didn't get any answers and thought to try my luck here..

My problem is that I never had closure with the last man I was in a relationship with, and it all has really left me confused.. to fill you in on it I haven't spoken/seen him for 3 months now. I called him the day after we had a disagreement and I didnt get an answer.

I think of him often, and sometimes I feel a bit melancholy, and I hate being this way. Now, I want to write him a letter, letting him know how I feel about the way things turned out. I don't feel the need for him to answer it, nor do I want to make him feel guilty about it. I just want to express my feelings place it in his mailbox and just walk away completely ..

I guess I have the idea in my head that maybe that would help me move on .. What do you think?

Hello,
I have recently started to get into the actual hardware-driven sciences of computers (what makes them tick). One of the most basic and well known theories of binary. I do have a basic understanding and know that binary is just base 2 numbering (didn't word that too well.. But you get it) and that a computer is limited of the number it may use by the bit size in use (most commonly 32 bits even though 64 bit processing does exist). Why not use trinary or an even higher number base to allow the easy calculation of larger numbers and in turn more data. Would it clog the processor? Is this far from possible and I just need to learn my stuff?
This is probably a real beginners question and most likely not possible but I'd like to know why. Thanks.

Answer honestly. What causes this slow reaction in the brain. When it comes to listening, learning, being attentive, I'm slow. Why? What's going on in my brain. I am greatly motivated so I work hard to get it right, but what causes this slow reaction. I'm tried of not getting things as quick as others do. Is it that they have more confidence than I do?
