I have a pit his name is Sir Rufus an he's a big ole baby. Don't be afraid of the dog be afraid of the owner. The owners are the ones that make the breed good or bad.

Had a 13 year old mixed that died last winter. I loved that dog and trusted him completely. I have a friend that raises pitts and he says he'll give me a pure bred pup when I am ready. Pitts get a bad rep. I believe a lot of blame can be placed on the owners.

The greatest dogs there are.I have four dogs, a Chi/Rat Terrier, a Beagle and two APBTs. The older Pit is four years and the puppy Pit is almost three months. When we got the puppy, three weeks ago, I thought we were in big trouble with the older Pit, dog aggression. She would growl and snap at the puppy. My grandson took the older Pit and laid her on the floor and brought the puppy over to her. He put his hand on the older dogs head and said Shhhh if she tried to get rough with the puppy. It is so funny now to see the 55 lb pit and the 11 lb pit running through the house play fighting and sleeping together.
The APBT is the best dog there is!

Unfortunately, I do not support any purebred or mixed breed dog. They are dogs. I DO support good, responsible owners, human pack leaders and trainers. Ultimately, those are the people who determine what a dog will be, regardless of the breed!

I have a Rotti/Am Staff mix ! I definately support Pits, but I do have to say that maybe we do need some regulations so they stop ending up in bad homes. I for one have socialized my dog from the day I got him, taught him manners, and he's a great boy! Let's say a big THANK YOU to the responsible owners!

I support the Pitbull breed. Yet i sometimes wonder why so many of these great dogs are euthanized by humans, i mean why do 4million Pitts(puppies&dogs)have to be killed by humans just because so many people breed them? I support rescued pitts more than breeded ones though.....

I support them, I have a APBT that's a great sweetie pie but we have trained and socialized her just like we did our feist.
All dogs should be trained and socialized but irresponsible stupid people don't properly care for their dogs and Pit Bulls are getting all the bad media.
It's not the breed it's the owners!

I do I do! I have an 8 month old pit puppy and she is the BEST dog. She LOVES people and she learns tricks faster than I can teach them! I taught her "roll over" in about 10 minutes :-)
She really is the smartest, goofiest, most lovable and cute dog. And she's great at snuggling :-)

I support responsible pit bull owners. Their poor dogs get a bum rap from all the people who own them and use them for unfit purposes.
