Answer honestly. What causes this slow reaction in the brain. When it comes to listening, learning, being attentive, I'm slow. Why? What's going on in my brain. I am greatly motivated so I work hard to get it right, but what causes this slow reaction. I'm tried of not getting things as quick as others do. Is it that they have more confidence than I do?

Maybe your brain just isn't active enough, or wasn't in the past. You can train yourself to think faster.

I honestly don't know. however i will guess that it has something to do with taking interest in world events, news, etc NO LIMITS. Maybe ask yourself about some subjects you have slow response to, maybe your not interested in the subjects until someone seems more knowledgeable about it. One day you'll notice your just as quick in the conversations that pretains to something of interest to you. Basically nobodys a wiz in everything. Your fine the way you are, wishing you the best in journey through life.

I think it has to do with different learning styles and intelligences. You already know which areas are more challenging for you; I'm sure you don´t feel slow in other things. Maybe you are more comfortable with visual stimuli or you prefer dynamic learning instead of reading. There are several studies about this in Pedagogy theory.

because your brain takes longer to react to things, then in other people, it doesn't mean you are stupid or abnormal. If you get it in the end that is all that matters, it doesn't matter how quick or slow it comes. Be at peace with yourself, know that you are not the only one out there.
