Every year for his birthday and Christmas he gets presents from Ron, Hermione, Hagrid, and Ron's mother (the sweater at Christmas).

But you never read about him giving any gifts to them. And he has more gold than all of them combined.

Even when Ron's wand had broken in half he didn't even offer to help to his boy out.

Who else is sick of having their relationships on their partner's terms, and not theirs? I am so tired of it - it is what, when, how, and where HE wants - why can't it be my turn?

I don't know what to do anymore. He is a really great guy 80% of the time - everything I could want in a partner. Then, he will turn around and be completely inconsiderate, even rude to me - wanting everything his way - and not caring how I feel about it. It is good to have your needs met, but it seems like his needs are the only ones he considers - not mine, at all.

I don't know what to do - I do want to be with him, but how do I make these terms more equitable? How can I stand up for and get what I want out of this?

Here is a more concrete example. We spent the night Fri. and day through early evening together on Sat. He was awesome - absolutely great. Sat. night he went to a party (guys only) at his friend's house, and was supposed to call me on Sun. to get together Sun. evening.

My parents have been talking about celebrating Christmas in the mountains since I was little (we've never seen snow on Christmas; we live in Georgia) and they're finally going to do it this year because my younger brother no longer believes in Santa. The only thing about that is, I'm now grown and live with my boyfriend who wouldn't be able to join us because he's going to be working on Christmas Eve and Day (something he can't, and doesn't want, to get out of because of the EXTRA pay he'll be getting). My parents will be paying for everything (except gas) as a gift to us and I REALLY want to go. However, if I go I won't be able to spend the holiday with my boyfriend who I love very, very much. But if I don't, it'll be the first time I didn't spend Christmas with my family and I don't want to have to cross that inevitable bridge until I get there if you know what I mean. Obviously, I'm in a HUGE pickle and have no idea how to get out of it.
What would you do in my situation?

I grew up in a Pagan household, with my step-father following an essentially druidic path and my mother being more into hedgewitchery. I'm interested in researching some of the other pagan paths - can anyone explain some to me, or provide names or links for further research?

Thanx!

Have you ever had that experience? I will be making my first wedding video with one camera only very soon. Some people tell me that two cameras coverage is more convenient . That I understand but the deal is already in with one camera only. I have my doubts of how to cover the moment of the ceremony with the priest, bride, groom, and people at the same time. Any ideas on this matter are highly appreciated.
