I parked my car in the parking lot when I went into eat. When I came out a tree branch had fallen on my hood and dented it. It was raining out but it was the only parking space available and aren't they required to do upkeep? Are they responsible?

My dad sent off a cheque for £90 to a company in Jersey, along with an order form for some DVDs. He received 2 of the DVDs which cost total £15 so he called them to ask about the others he ordered. He was told they were out of stock but he should receive them within the next two weeks. Then a fortnight later when he had not received any further products from the company he called again, only to be greeted by a recorded message stating the company had gone into administration and gave an address to write to if there were any problems. Well, my dad wrote a letter asking for either the products he had ordered, and paid for, as the cheque had been cashed, or for a refund of the money he had overpaid (about £75). He received a letter back stating that he could not have the money back as there was no money left to pay him back with????? Surely this can't be right? I understand he would have better protection had he paid with a credit card but surely he is entitled to a refund somehow?

I have finished my degree which has nothing to do with finance or accountancy but I want to become a tax advisor. I haven't had much success applying for trainee positions because I missed 2.1 class so I have decided to do further studies to beef up my CV. Am I the only one who feels sick when I hear that Parker-Bowles will be going to the memorial service for our beloved Princess Diana - having split the marriage. Whilst her ex-husband Prince Charles will not be going?

I had a program before that let me soften and edit pictures, but it also let me put pre-made frames onto the pictures to help make it look better. I cannot remember what that program was called and I got a new computer and cannot find another program like that. Any help?

because everyone also uses it as a reason why they don't like your names.
my name is kelly and never in my life have i been called smelly kelly except by my sister to be funny.
are people REALLY going to make fun of you kids for having a name that could be made into something remotely close to a mean name?

i understand people are just helping and pointing out the cons of each name, but i'm getting sick of it!

OK for 1 this car has ran for 1yr 6mo great.But in the winter time Idle is very high causing it to flood sometimes.I mean it feels like its in overdrive.But in the summer time when its hot it idles very low.Which them it wont flood and it seems to get great MPG.Idle very high in winter but low in summer Oh and this car has carburater its not fuel injected.

I just turned 21, and I want to buy a bottle of red wine and of white wine, and save it until I'm retired or for 25th wedding anniversary or something special along the road.

Any suggestions? I'm not a fan of red wine, but I'm open to the possibility that I'll acquire a taste for it in the next 20 years... =)
