OK for 1 this car has ran for 1yr 6mo great.But in the winter time Idle is very high causing it to flood sometimes.I mean it feels like its in overdrive.But in the summer time when its hot it idles very low.Which them it wont flood and it seems to get great MPG.Idle very high in winter but low in summer Oh and this car has carburater its not fuel injected.

you can try replacing the temperature sensor on it,also clean out the idle air control valve on it,they willl get clogged up a little and cause it to do this also,you might want to have it scanned also to see if it shows any bad sensors on it that too wil cause this,usually an 0-2 sensor will cause the problem your having,good luck with it.

High idle/choke controler pot may need adjusting.

Try a good carburetor cleaning on all the linkages first.
It could just be all grungy and dirty.
