I have a brass/gold colored sink fixture and am trying to find shower fixtures and shower doors that match and am having no luck at Lowe's or Home Depot. The only seem to have silver and nickel. I have found some brass items online but they are over half the price of the same thing in the other colors. Why the high price as well?

I'm really interested in purchasing a second generation Camaro and/or possibly a different muscle car. Everyone has given me great advice, such as that I need to find a car with a good body/interior but the engine doesn't have to be perfect.

I've heard a scenario where I can remove the car's original/current engine and transport it to an autoparts store. Then I will trade the engine in and pay a fee and will receive the crate engine.

I found that Jegs sells a crate engine for $1,500: http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...10002_85884_-1

I'm not sure I'm going to have that kind of money after buying the car because I only have $2-$4k. Can I use the trade-in process mentioned above? If so, how much will it cost me for the engine? Thank you.

Two carts on a level track collide head-on. After the collision, cart 1 is completely at rest, and cart 2 has reversed direction. Which cart’s momentum changed by the greatest amount during the collision? Or did both carts’ momentum change by the same amount? Explain.

1. NFL - This whole Vick issue coupled with Pacman Jones and half the Bengals team have given the sports leader some trouble. They will still always be number one, but even still.

2. MLB - Bonds, steroids, enough said. This wont end till Bonds retires. I dont even know why people hate him, I dont.

3. NBA - Gambing officials and calling games may be the worst one out of all three, compared to a league standpoint.

So the big question, Can and How will the NHL be able to jump on this huge oppurtunity?

If it is so bad to have very agressive fish in a small tank why do pet stores do it. If you go to petco you see 15 african cichlids in probably a 5-10 gallon tank. How do pet stores like petco prevent deaths in these situations. I never see dead fish at petco. Not that this question is important, I was just wondering. I had 10 africans in a 100 gallon and 2 died because of a territorial yellow lab. I have no idea how pet stores do it.

My husband has made wild accusations of me in the recent past, as well as threats of violence, but when I talk to him about them, he says it never happened and I must be nuts or that it was me who did that and not him, so I must have a mental problem (which I do not, and I have not imagined anything. I am entirely sane, I assure you). In my current situation, he got authorities involved with insane claims of things I never did. When I talked to him without the authorities around, he told me I imagined everything. Has anyone ever experienced this? Is that technically mental abuse? How can I prove my innocence and/or prove I'm being mentally abused if it's all just my word against his with no proof? I really need help with this...it's urgent at the moment.

I know this ? might sound completely silly, but I'm completely serious...

Is it more eco-friendly to have short hair?

I mean, you use less shampoo, which means you have to buy them less often, so you use less plastic. And, when you blow-dry your hair, although I rarely do, unless I have to, it takes a shorter time, you use less energy.

Cause I was thinking about cutting my hair shorter, right now it is below my shoulder blades.

i'm a skeptic. here's why:

the IPCC and those who agree with them that global warming is real based their conclusion off of about 100 years of recorded measurements, and base the global warming argument off 30 years of temp. increases (see below for source). they have guesses about what the temperature was before then, but those guesses aren't entirely accurate -- they are simply guesses. the earth has been shown to go through cycles, usually lasting much longer than 100 years. while this argument does not negate the possibility of global warming, it does show that global warming hasn't been proved conclusively.

i would go into why so many scientists believe in if it might not be true, but i don't have enough space. message me if you'd like me to explain. basically, it's if the teacher is all for X, and doesn't state the other side of the argument, the student is inclined to agree.

I have a biological daughter that I love more then anything in the world. I can't imagine ever loving anything or anyone more except another child. If I were to adopt a child is it the same feeling of love or does it feel more like how you love another family member or close friend? I'm looking for serious answers from personal experience of having both biological and adopted children. Thanks!

okay on the spur of the moment i had to upgrade tank size. so i took most of the water from the 10 gallon and a ornament and put it in the new 20 gallon. i set up the 10 gallon for a green spotted puffer which i cant find a stone who hads them (newark delaware). so i added the rest of the water from the tap and put in proper amount of aqua safe and "cycle" to help mature the bacteria cycle proces. i have fluval 2 plus filter which i used a couple years ago for my RES. i also have a air pump and heater set to 78-80 i have blue rams, corys, gouramis, tetras, and livevears. the water is pretty cloudy in the 20 and the 10 (has no fish in it yet) is crystal clear. the fish seem fine but i dont like it being that cloudy. i know moving the fish to a non cycled tank is a no no but i sort had to. should i just let it run and it will clear up? also is my filter okay?

Some guy said the following earlier:

There isn't a shred of evidence for the "thousands of gods" so I don't believe in them.

To extrapolate from this that there is therefore not even one God is an illogical non-sequitor - worse yet, there is plenty of credible evidence for the existence of the God of the Jews and Christians. Care to discuss it? Drop me an email.
