Yup. it's really hard to shake childhood conditioning and get people into thinking about Deity in a way to which they are totally unaccustomed, and which is unquestionably not at all the way they were taught to do. Most people still think about God the way they did when they were kids, which is as absurd as their still believing in the Easter Bunny: completely unrealistic and immature, and nothing at all to do with the way things really are.

Well I'm an example of someone who has rejected the religion of my parents.

I've rejected all relgions, actually and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

So now I have a relatioship with Jesus, not a religion.

ya ur parents have a big influence on u. my parents are pro choice, anti-bush, democrats...i am to not bcuz im copying them but bc i feel that way but yes they do influence me
