They are highly unlikely. Given that every single individual must agree to a defined set of morals (without the slightest deviation), it will not work as human nature will inevitably rebel against such a stringest set of standards. The only event that could possibly result in a utopia ever forming would be after a very long period of constant war amongst all people (to each one's own) as everyone would desire peace and tranquility. The real question would be "What kind of utopia fits all?" That is the real dilemma.

Utopian society is one community with a perfect social and moral conditions. How we all wish to happen but i believe this will all remain to be a dream of the Philosophers.

If it will to happen, what a beautiful society can one live. There will no more immoral acts to speak of and the social activities of everyone will definitely bring a lasting happiness.

First off, do your own homework. Utopian societies are impossible to accomplish because man is inherently imperfect. Hitler wanted a perfect society, one with only one race of people. Communism tries to have a utopian society by making everyone be on the same level. Read "The Giver" and then try to answer that question on your own.

Can you make anything perfect without perfect objects? All governments were essentially created as "utopian", but man messes things up. We can not have a perfect society among imperfect creations.

I have 2 essays you might be interested in. If you are... let me know and I'll direct you to them. One is discussing "functionality vs. idealism" and the second is a personal perspective of a utopian society.

A number of "intentional communities" are out there. If you do a search under that name, you'll find thousands. Some are religious, most probably not. Some share just about everything, most share some things. Few claim, or aspire, to be "utopian communities" (if there are people, there will be problems), but most people living in them prefer that way of life.

That they are written about and by people who can

just about spell that tremendous word;oh,and published

by publishers who, frankly, are content to see words

wasted on the worlds ever decreasing forests.

And if ur under 21(like a lot here) then id further say

this; All western societies are utopian,in that they (currently)

think that they are superior(!)

(Current) western societies have a lot-to-learn!

That is dependent on what kind of Utopian society you are wishing to live in.

that's all they do....think.....

its an idea....perfection is not meant to be achieved.....its only to be strived for.....

if we are meant to achieve perfection then we would have learnt to treat each other right after 2000+ years of civilisation
