I don't know how to type equations out, like squared, etc. So bare with me. You should be able to see what i am getting at.

1) x - 2y = 11
x + 2y = -13 Answer x=-1, y=-6

2) x(squared) + 6 - 40 = 0
answer x=-10 and 4

I am just asking what they are called. Thanks.

I've seen a lot of people on this board say something like, "If Bonds gets into the HOF, then Pete Rose should be allowed in as well."

I'm not sure if some of you actually realize what the difference is between what Bonds is accused of doing, and what Rose admitted to doing.

What Bonds is accused of doing, at the most, would land him a 50 game suspension from baseball. And that's if, and only if, he tests positive for steroids, otherwise MLB has no grounds so suspend him. And at this point, there is no "just" reason to deny him a bid into the hall of fame.

Rose certainly has the numbers to get in, but what he did was so bad, he didn't get a slap on the wrist and a 50 game suspension, he got banned for LIFE. Not suspended... Banned. Gambling on the game is the worst thing you can do as a player, coach, owner, umpire, etc. It's worse than taking steroids, far worse. So why is everyone lumping these two together? It's two completely separate issues.

The Notorious Bush and like Americans always says that they can Isolate anyone around the world if their bloody interests are criticized.

is a mac for me? does mac have any of my main issues with my two year old windows xp laptop? they are:
slow
slow startup
slow opening of programs
rediculously low ram (348 mb)
it takes FOREVER to transfer my effing pictures onto it, and sometimes doesnt even recognize it.
xp is ugly (although i customized my desktop to somewhat look like a mac, with a dark touch, but still.
have to tie the damn chargin cable on with a rubber band to see if itl MAYBE feel like charging (im really interested in the macs magnetic thingy)
um, did i mention is ugly? and old.
really bad media handeling.

i just really want something fresh and new that just works when i want it to and thats fast and reliable and pretty.

and please dont recomend ubuntu. tried it. and it is the shitiest os. ide rather live with xp forever then deal with the hardness of ubuntu.

Christians should be honest to themselves and admit the Trinity is what it is.
